A few days ago, I started having pain when urinating and wiping. It was very itchy and the sides would bleed when I used T.P. to scratch it. Yesterday, it started not only hurting a lot when I wipe, but my clitoris started hurting a lot and throbbing after I used the restroom. I've had yeast infections before, and one bladder infection, but nothing like this. I've been taking Pearls, but it's not helping. Going to try Cranberry, but may end up getting to the doctor. If anybody has had this before please let me know...it sucks!

Thanks guys! Yeah, it doesn't hurt while I'm actually urinating, just when I am wiping afterwards. I itched it using TP, so most likely the bleeding on the side was just from that, I read that somewhere. I think I am going to make an appointment today, because my dad is diabetic and it's freaking me out! Thanks a bunch!

A painful burning feeling when you urinate is often a sign of a urinary tract infection (sometimes also called a bladder infection). However, painful urination can occur even if you don't have an infection. Certain drugs, like some used in cancer chemotherapy, may inflame the bladder. Something pressing against the bladder (like an ovarian cyst) or a kidney stone stuck near the entrance to the bladder can also cause painful urination.

Painful urination can also be caused by vaginal infection or irritation. You might be sensitive to chemicals in products such as douches, vaginal lubricants, soaps, scented toilet paper or contraceptive foams or sponges. If it hurts to urinate after you've used these products, you're probably sensitive to them.

I would recommend that you consult with your doctor for further evaluation to see what he/she says.

When seeing your doctor you should tell your doctor about your symptoms and how long you've had them. You should also tell your doctor if you've had urinary tract infections before (including when you were a child), how many you've had and how they were treated. Also tell your doctor about any known abnormality in your urinary tract, or if you are or might be pregnant.

Good luck :)

Throbbing Pain In Clitoris

The "Discovery Health channel" just had a special on women that had orgasms every ten minutes and to relieve them selves had to masturbate. Those that were married had to sleep in a separate bed so they didn't bother their husbands masturbating. Between this and the UTI that you seem to have you do need a prescription for the infection. A woman has only a four inch urethrae and when it gets an infection it usually involves the bladder it's so close. I have no idea why the clitoris throbs like this unless it's part of the infection. Your going to have to see a good urologist and get medication for all of this. There is no help for the former.

This sounds a lot like a yeast infection. I have had my clitoris be irritated and painful and uncomfortable because of a yeast infection.

It is also possible to have both a bacterial infection and yeast infection going on at the same time. I've had it happen to me before and it was quite uncomfortable.

I would recommend seeing your doctor for further evaluation to see what they say.

This sounds like a yeast infection. If it's worse than a previous one you may want to consult with your doctor before using an over the counter medication.

Go to the doctor and ask the doctor to do a glucose test as many diabetics get a lot of yeast infection.

Either way go to the doctor.
