I'm not uncircumcised but somehow my foreskin retracts from my glans. Sometimes it covers only one third of the glans and sometimes it doesn't cover at all. This makes me really uncomfortable although it has been years...I don't remember when exactly my foreskin got back (5th or 6th grade? Not sure) but I'm sure when I was in the 3rd grade my foreskin still covers all my glans (I couldn't see my glans if foreskin's not pulled back). My glans is still very sensitive now. It itches a lot when contact with clothing especially when I wear boxers. Does any one have the same situation? How to solve this problem? Is there any way to make my foreskin longer cover the whole glans spontaneously again? This really bothers me a lot… Thanks a lot!

I'm not circumcised and i don't know why it retracted from the glans spontaneously...some people said that penis grows faster than foreskin...
I'm not joking... this has been bothering me for years...

It sounds like you have a short foreskin. It's not something that bothers most guys with short foreskins, but it clearly bothers you. Foreskins come in all manners of lengths and thicknesses.

The only way to make your foreskin longer is to stretch it out over a long period of time (on the scale of months to years). This is basically the same as non-surgical "foreskin restoration" for circumcised guys, except it'll go much faster for you because you have more skin to work with.

If you're interested in trying this to stretch out your foreskin, look at the links below. While it'll probably only take a few months for you (3-6 probably), it does require a bit of patience and perseverence. Until then, perhaps it's better to wear boxer-briefs or something, so the glans doesn't move around as much and rub against things.

Have you tried grabbing the end of your foreskin and pulling on it a little bit. Maybe your foreskin is bunching up behind the head of your penis. A little tug will pull the wrinkles out. I do that fairly regular because my foreskin isn't real long either. It will barely cover the head when soft, and won't cover when erect. If that doesn't work you may have to try foreskin restoration or some kind of foreskin stretching. I would recommend going to briefs for under-ware. They will help hold your foreskin over the head. Even though I have never wore boxers but I have went without under-ware on occasion I think that maybe contributing to your foreskin retracting. I wouldn't recommend either leaving your foreskin retracted or circumcision. There is an awful lot of sensation lost form that. I tried the leaving my foreskin retracted for about 20 years form my early 20's to my mid forty's. Buy the time I was in my forty's my penis was so desensitized it was just about worthless. then I stumbled across a site about circumcision and found out that leaving the head of my penis exposed was not such a good idea. I took at least a year to get most of my sensitivity back. Boy what a difference. I sure feel sorry for the guys that are circumcised, they didn't have a choice.

Are you still growing? If you're still growing then I guess it's possible the foreskin would catch up to the rest, especially if you say it used to cover the whole glans and then changed.

But if you're not a teen, it sounds like you just have a naturally short foreskin. (Or maybe a "loose" circumcision and nobody told you?) Some guys have short foreskins that don't cover the whole glans when soft.

I do know that some circumcised men go for "foreskin restoration" where they try to stretch existing skin to recreate the foreskin. Even though you still have your foreskin, you could try that. I think they pull it and tape it forward or something. Some also wear a sheath over it to protect it. Have a google for some info.

About your sensitivity I think that also decreases with time and contact, that's what happens to circumcised men it gets contact with the clothes (make sure you're not allergic to your soap powder). You can help decrease sensitivity, if it's painful, by rubbing it.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help...

Some guys just have shorter foreskins, like you for example. Other guys have longer foreskins, like me for example!
You can't make your foreskin longer, but if the sensitivity of your helmet is bothering you or is painful, I'd recommend seeing your doctor. He'll be able to offer much better help than me or anybody else on Yahoo Answers!

You can stretch your foreskin to make it longer. Google "foreskin restoration" and click one of the sites. They should explain what to do. Foreskin restoration is mainly for circumcised guys that want to "get their foreskin back". But it will also work for uncircumcised guys to lengthen what they already have and it should take much less time for you since you still have your foreskin.

In the meantime, wear briefs or boxerbriefs if you don't want your junk moving around uncomfortably in your shorts.

using various stretching devices you can extend the length over time .I fully covered mine again after circumcision in about 9 months so if yours already covers a fair amount it shouldn't take as long.
I used surgical tape bought from the chemist ,taping my skin onto a cylindrical device and then connecting that to an elastic band and harness.Keeping the skin under tension for long periods encourages growth and permanent expansion.
Make sure you dont tape too tight and effect circulation always remove if any pain or swelling occurs.Soak tape before removing .good luck

Even though you're no circumcised, it sounds like you could use some help from foreskin restoration techniques. There's a lot of good information at http://www.norm.org

Good luck!

i am sorry for your discomfort. i have heard that penises which are circumsized lose their sensitivity, perhaps with time, the exposed area will not be as sensitive as it is now. i would ask my doctor, or my dad or mom, perhaps even a buddy. I would not ask a priest this question...just to play it safe.
