My vision is starting to get worse. But its not that bad yet. Therefore, i did not go and consult a doctor. I don't like the idea of wearing contacts or glasses. I don't want to be dependant to them for the rest of my life! How can I improve my vision naturally before it gets worse? Please help. thank you.

Do you guys think minority of women that have had abortion would have post abortion syndrome while the majority of other women don't?

I don't trust the statistics. I think there's more since women tend to be not opened about their sufferings from abortion. But I think there may be more women that don't have post abortion syndrome since imnotsorry.com has more stories than the stories of women that do regret their abortions.

After my period stopped for the first time, i was diagniosed wiht PID, after i was cured of the infetcion I stayed a year wihtout having any menstrual cycle. Then after a boost in iron and fish oil it came once then stopped again.I canot take hormones or any other heavy medication because i can't handle it in terms of side effects. Is there anyway that can cure my amenorrhea other than the hormones(i cannot take them at all).Isn't it a good sign that it came after a year of abscence? but now it has been 2 months and a half and no sign. The thing is that some PMS symptoms are there every months like heavy constipation, light cramps, sugar cravings and aggressive mood.So i really need to cure my amenorrhea cz it is stressing out and i wanna have children one day.....i am 26 and not married but i am planning to. Please i am desperate i really need ur help! thank you.

Obviously, I have read all the info I can from the 'net and elsewhere, but that's not the same as personal experience. My son, who has learning difficulties, seizures etc is being investigated for this.

I was sleeping. I don't know what sleep stage I was in, but I woke up at 2:34am with anxiety provoking thoughts. I haven't seen my counselor in a month now. Whenever things bother me, I start having stomach problems. My mind can not allow me to fall asleep because it regrets the things that I have said and done today. Today I opened up emotionally in front of a few people and now my mind is saying "What on Earth were you thinking!" It's freaking out and it thinks that it is the only mind in this world going through something like this. Someone calm me down. I talk as if my mind is another person. It has been personified. I feel that my emotions are a big weakness of mind. Can someone argue this and tell me that it is benefit? I'm 21, f

Okay theres most likely nothing i can do except gene therapy or medication or some crazy scientific thing but: i am 16, with a bone age of less than 16 (which is good in my case, bone age around 12 or so) but i am only 130something centimetres tall and i really would like to grow taller. i also have some problems in my hips which will require hip replacement unless science will come up with some weird new discovery. is there anything i can do to grow taller?

Some people seem to think that they will do severe damage to their health if they skip even one or two meals, and the conventional wisdom seems to be that skipping meals is a bad idea, and that a complete zero-calorie fast is life-threatening, even if it's only for a few days. However, I have been searching articles in the so-called "prestigious peer-reviewed medical journals," and I find almost no cases of any bad effects of fasting lasting up to 30 days and even longer. Does anybody know of any real evidence (or personal experiences) of any harm done by total fasts of up to 30 days? Please be specific.

Mental illness is not like other illnesses in that there is no blood test, there is no sure way to say someone has it or doesn't. The treatment is usually some sort of medicine that doctors say they don't know alot about.

Docs say that the meds for mental illness haven't had enough study time, and taht the results are all muddled up. A personality test just tells you what a person may possibly be like in real life. Can a person be ill because of their unique personality or is it all just a sham? Can anyone here please point to credible scientific evidence that mental illness is real and that psych meds either work or don't? Why do they work, why don't they work?
