I'm assuming these are meds for a bladder infection? I took some of these and they changed my urine so bright and yellowish orange. Drink more water. This will kinda dilute the bright color. But your urine will only clear up once you stop taking the medication.

Yes, phenazopyridine is prescribed for relief of the pain and burning on urination. It will definitely turn the urine bright orange. Many drugs with azo in the name will have a similar effect.
Ciprofloxacin is a powerful antibiotic. Be sure to read the special instructions that accompanied the prescription.

yes they can! It is normal for some drugs to turn your urine a different color as it is leaving your body. The second one is an antibiotic that you should be drinking plenty of water with while you take it! Push lots of fluids and if you still have any concerns, call your doctor or pharmacist and talk to them! Good Luck and drink, drink, drink! This will help those kidneys flush everything out!

Could be what you gave him or if he's been ingesting anything else. Keep an eye on him and give him plenty of fluids (water). If it persists then take him to the vets - but for now it could be just the interceptor. I gave my pups vitamins before and it turned their urine brown. Whatever their bodies cannot absorb - they will pee it back out - just like humans who take too much vitamins - we'll just pee it back out.

I actually just got off of cipro! The only time mine was a bright yellow is when I didn't drink enough water while taking the medicine. As far as phena......, I don't know!

PHENAZOPYRIDINE does... it just indicates the presence of this drug in the body. If you see that change in colour it's harmless.
