i am really concerned now i didnt have my perid for a few months and then last month i had 3 periods lasting a week long each and i got a few bruises but anyways ive been onmy period this month for 2 weeks and 4 days now since the 6th of this month it doesnt seem to want to stop i feel like crap im sick major headache for like 2 days straight cant sleep sore throat cranky and a lot more does anyone know what might be the cause to this? and the other day when i put in my tampon it was like blood coming from a faucet it was disgusting and got everywhere and looked like i killed something with my bare hands or something im 18 yrs old and ive also had 2 cysts within the last couple months if i think of any more symptoms ill let you know and im not amnemic i was tested for that before i donated plasma and thats how i got 2 huge ugly bruises any ways i need to know what can cause this has this happened to anyone else?

how often would breakthrough bleeding occure. I'm mainly interested in the fact that if this is happening, i might not be protected from pregnancy, and need to know if i have to be extra careful.

What's "too much"? How much is too much? Drinking alcohol is not a disease! Doing drugs is not a disease! It's a choice. So it is a bad choice. Choices aren't diseases. Does anybody know what a disease is? its internal not external like alcohol

I've been working for about 3 years now and i have very little money to show for it. I've gone through 6 cell phones in 2 years which have cost me hundreds if not thousands of dollars, every time i see a new phone, ipod, video game, computer, anything i just want it. I want to know how many 'types' of 'pain' there are . As I see it -

1) First there is the normal pain, where one doesn't want to touch the injured area.
2) Second type of pain is felt when a stiff area is massaged , like some acupressure points. A very good example of this is the fleshy area between your thumb and index finger.
3)Another is the pleasent'ish pain one gets on doing exercise or streching.

I have an annoying pain in the muscles behind my knees and in front of my elbows(basically behind the joints )that are only felt when I am relaxed. and when I have this pain I just want to keep punching the area. Punching does help a little (temporarily).

Can somone explain what sort of pain is this and what other types of pain there are ??

They call acupuncturists quacks, and they dismiss the evidence that alternative healthcare has healed the symptoms of hundreds of thousands of Americans? (And uh, no -not just of the Asian persuasion.) For you Traditional doctors, has this mindset presented emotional or spiritual challenges to you in your practice?

Why is there little exposure of traditional medicine in mainstream publications?
I can't think of a single colleague, neighbor, acquaintance or friend that I've met who has never considered or known someone who's sought acupuncture or taken herbs.

tooth pulling, arm twisted behind back, crackin ur knuckles, ear ache, tooth ache, cuticle not level, paper cut, stubbing your toes while walking, pinched nerve, stomach ache, non lethal chest pain, wind knocked out of you, cant crap, scrapes on your genitals(from too much this or that--you know), too much gas and creating streaks in your underwear, bending your hand, elbows or knee the wrong way, getting kicked in the nuts-for guys, gals?, whatever happens to you?, headache non relief, continuous vomiting with unrelenting anal discharge at same time

I have a really bad cough ..i put vicks vapor rub on my chest just now ...and i took night quill about 3 hours ago ...can i take some more night quill now ...or will it be bad because i just used vicks vapor rub on me ?? Will it do anything bad ? Please help !thanks ~~!!!

Hmm. Before, I used to urinate 2 times a day. For the past week, I now urinate 4-5 times (almost every 4 horus) a day even though I still drink almost the same amout of fluids. Is this normal?

Given normal days and conditions, I don't feel fatigue though. I also don't wake up during the night just to pee. I can sleep well. It's the urinating thing that got me worried though. =(

About three months ago, I had my blood sugar tested and thankfully, the result was quite normal. My dad has diabetes but it's an ACQUIRED diabetes (after I was born).

range? I just saw a small frame pop uo on everything I looked at for about a minute and a half after a photo was taken of me at a very close range. The camera flash was dead in my eyes. I have never experienced that before. Help! Was that a temporary symptom?

Hi there,

About a month and one week ago, my girlfriend began to take the birth control pill.

However, two seemingly glaring side effects are keeping us from enjoying the benefits of the choice to use birth control.

Firstly, her sex drive has been stifled fairly strongly. Secondly, and more importantly, she feels as though she is not herself. Feeling almost as if sometimes the pill is "controlling" her.

I truly hate to see her like this and have suggested that if the side effects continue that she should stop using the pill entirely; however, I had two questions.

Firstly, would a lower or "ultra-low" dose pill aid in reducing these symptoms. We are still planning to use condoms every time; however, we like the idea of a "safety net" in case of a condom break.

Secondly, could the pill possibly be taken every OTHER day to circumvent some of the harsher side effects? I understand that would reduce its effectiveness, but would it reduce side effects and still make a "safety net?"

A girl friend of mine went out drinking tonight and she is currently passed out. She's pretty out of it, but her breathing is fine and she hasn't thrown up any that I'm aware of. She is just kinda difficult to get up. Since her breathing is fine (much more than 10 breaths/minute) and she isn't cold or blue do you think she can just sleep it off?

ok i'm def. not pregnant, 100% not, but i have a 10 month old daughter who weighs about 17 lbs. and she is constantly grabbin my breast, and putting all her weight on them so she can stand up, and everytime she do that i hurt so bad on a scale of 1-10 i would rate the pain a 8 i can't figure out why they hurt and sometimes even when she's not on them they hurt like if i bend down or something i think they hurt because of her but i don't know what does everyone think??
