Eyes change colour a bit in preschoolers but if you are old enough to read and write it is unlikely that they will change.
Eye colour is inherited through the action of several genes. With one brown eyed parent and one green eyed parent the children can end up with a range of colours -- dark blue, green, hazel, light brown , brown with the odds in favour of hazel or darker.

Part of the answer is that the genes for brown eyes are more dominant than genes for lighter eyes, like green. They are "expressed" to certain levels in some people, which is why their eyes appear hazel, or purplish or gray for a blue-eyed person. I don't know about eye colors CHANGING, so I think you will always have brown eyes.

the fact is that brown is a dominance in genes and eye colour. Thats like me i have brown eyes and my parents both have green eyes but when we asked a doctor they said that the genes skip a few generations. My great nan and pop both had brown eyes

No you are stuck with brown eyes..
The thing is.. the gene that gives you brown eyes is dominent to the one that gives you green eyes..
see if one of your parents had green eyes and the other one had blue...you would get blue eyes because that gene over powers the other.....
And brown over powers green...
And no brown eyes dont change...because they are the darkest..they cant get lighter....

Eye color changes when children are smaller... usually no later than age 7.
Brown eyes are the dominant color typically... hence why you were blessed with them.
Enjoy your autumn eye color!

your genetics arent directly from your parents. you may have gotten brown eyes as a rait passed on from your g-ma.
Recessive traits are traits that may skip a generation. ie all my kids could have bue eyes, bu my grandkids could end up with my hazel eyes.
Dominant traits are triats that are strong. This means that if your mom had black hair and your dad did too, and that was a dominant trait in them, then your probably going to have brown hair.
we learned about this in science last year and i found it interesting.
if you need more information, go to wikipedia.
