Do you think someone who was with you for 5 years and who has Bipolar could say they loved you up until the day they left you and then a month later say that they have moved on, are in love with someone else and are happy?

Well I mean....do you think that this would be the truth or confusion rather?

It sounds rather superficial, but I would move on if I were you. This would not be a healthy relationship.

People with bipolar disorder are usually on a roller coaster ride of emotional highs and lows. They may make sudden dramatic changes of mind and behaviour which are hard to predict. Relationships with a BPD sufferer are a gamble you have to be willing to face.

Moving on to another 'love' one month after leaving you could be part of the 'manic phase' of this disorder. Hopefully they are really happy and all the best to you moving on for your own peace of mind.

I doubt it has anything to do with them being bipolar. They could be lying or confused. I don't think that you could get over someone with a snap of your fingers if you were truly in love with them.

But, you never know.
