It's a range. Try this website: http://apps.nccd.cdc.gov/dnpabmi/Calculator.aspx

You can put in your exact age and height and weight and get an answer.

80-160

-deletes long story- When I was starved for 6 months ( I was only allowed to eat slices of Sandwich Bread) and my bones were tearing through my skin, I had just entered the over weight side of the range for my Ideal Weight according to the book in my Health Class. There are far too many factors for a certain weight to be correct. Age also may be attributeing factors ( like your developeing hips).

If you are concerned you should go some where where they will put you through testing. Test will be things like put your feet against something and try to touch your toes,.. as well as them messureing many points on your body. They can tell you how much of your body is fat and more importantly how much is MUSCLE. Otherwise your Bones and Muscles won't be factored in and can count towards your "Fat".

Hi Katie:

A good weight for your height is between 115 and 130.

115 is 19.7 on the Body Mass Index and 130 is 22.3

Normal for 5' 4" is between 18.5 and 24.9

120 lbs. Don't get too obsessed with your weight, it isn't healthy. You can check your ideal weight by checking a BMI calculator, search for it on yahoo.
It doesn't consider many factors, so don't go off of it too much.
