I am 15 years old, 5'4, 137 pounds. I have wide hips and too much fat in certain places. I also happen to have rather large breast. I need help. I want to loose at least 10 pounds before February and I know I can, but i dont know how. I exercise regularly but i dont eat healthy at all. I want to try laxatives or diet pills! With my moms permission of course. Please help.

If the reasons of Cold, Pneumonia, and sore throat are bacteria, viruses or fungi, etc. then why everyone says that wear warm clothes or keep warm in winter or do not eat these things or those things to protect throat from soreness?

I am confused whether these are myths or facts?

They do this procedure if ur mouth is narrow and there isn't enough room for ur teeth. If anyone has heard of this or has had it done is it worth getting it done.

Do you belive that positive thinking can help mild depression? im trying to start saying positive quotes to myself now to clear my head....i feel a little down and worry to much i think i could have mild depression and dont want ot go to a doctor or a counceller....do you think it can help? i feel so negaitive and worried i feel my nerves getting bad :-(

I have read many other post on this before, and I do not think that my situation exactly covers it. First off my girlfriend pees immediately before sex. The once her G-spot is stimulated either through sex or other means she feels like she has to pee. Now every site/post says this is normal, but when she lets it go it is a lot of fluid. Too much according to things i have read. It says it is suppose to be a smaller amount but this is enough to leave a large size puddle. Recently we tested this out on a white floor to see what color it would be to make sure it wasn't urine. And the color wasn't really that of pee. It was slightly yellow but now really yellow enough, and it did not smell like urine, but at the same time I do not think that much fluid should be from the female "orgasim". Keeping in mind that she peed immediately before this I do not see how it could be urine. This is distrupting our sex life and any real help would be appreciated.

i have a question that some1 told me to ask. My friend has never had sex b4, she gonna be 18 Dec but the thing is she has this little odour comming from her private expecially when shes sweatty an this white looking thing from her vigina which sometime goes in the underwear leaving marks. I keep having really bad pain in the upper left of my abdomen. If I stand up, the pain is alleviated a bit, but I still feel very nauseous and very sick to my stomach. I also keep getting head aches. The pain is in my upper left abdomen ( I think its my stomach) and goes up into my chest, and causes me to feel like i'm literally having a heart attack. My mom said that it's probably gallstones, but I don't have any pain the RIGHT side, which would be condusive to gall problems. My main issue is, am I ok waiting until the morning to see a Dr? It's 3.25 right now, and I don't have anyone to drive me to the hospital, so I'd have to find someone to watch my daughter, then drive myself like 45 mins to the hospital then wait for god knows how long, and by then my dr. will prb be open. Suggestions?

Ok, im fourteen years old and have suffered from acne for about three years now, some ways i've learned to control it but... still SUFFERING... Ya, i Cannot stand it, although its not terrible, but a little bit above common. Sometimes i feel like i'm being thought of in a different, more secluded way, even though no friends have mentioned it to me yet.

From a person almost never had this problem how does it appear to you? Is it worth rapidly dropping my self esteem?!

I am in so much pain right now. Alot of bad things happened to me i dont want to go into it but i feel horrible. I dont know why if the people i loved really loved me why they wouldn't let me go! On the front page of Yahoo right now is a blurb about how scientists have now found evidence that the graveyard shift at work causes cancer. I've also heard in the past about the link between cancer and eggs, stress, sitting too long, soda, getting bruises too many times, depression, sunlight, etc... the list goes on. Truth is they just don't know, so why all this hatedred toward us smokers? If 3 out of 10 people that smoke get cancer, then 7 don't. People do get lung cancer that don't smoke as well, but they are not recorded. So what's the connection there? Doctors get gov't grants to prove smoking causes cancer, which means if they can't come up with something to that effect, they get no more grant money. No one gets paid to show negative results. In hospitals, if someone dies of any sort of repiritory cancer or disease, they mark them down as death due to smoking!
More people die of car accidents than cigarettes every year (if you believe the cigarette death stats), ban cars?

I'm 51, female, was injured when my arm was pulled by husband 2 months ago, and the pain keeps getting worse- having trouble sleeping, and range of motion affected. Doctor wanted to give me cortisone shot, physical therapy hurts, i'm not sure i want to take so much Aleve. Any suggestions?

I was with my ex-husband for 7 years and I overlooked a lot because we had kids together but looking back, I think he may have some problems. He used to hit walls and punch holes through them. He would also hurt himself, like punch his own face to the point of bleeding. He is very spoiled so I don't know if it was just a tantrum or if there is some mental problems. He is also a drug user and a drinker but he did this stuff even while sober. He also never seemed to have guilt about anything.

ok well i remember when i was a little younger, i used to have just perfect eyesight. i could see everything. well a little bit after that, my sis got glasses that looked like my older sisters (me and my older sis look a lot alike) so i would wear those glasses around the house for fun even though it was really blury for me (i was young and stupid) well i think that made my eyes kinda bad. they still have good eyesight but just not as good as i used to have. i know i dont need glasses but i was just wondering if there is anything at all you can do to get your eyes to see a little better. im not sure if its possible but im just wondering. oh and also i have this flash focus game for nintendo DS and i was wondering if that just helps your eyes or if it just makes you focus more. lol maybe thats the same thing but oh well.

The entire right side of my mouth hurts..I've had several opinons..but haven't seen the dentist yet b/c I've been busy with finals..I'm a grad student so as soon as I find time..I HAVE to go to the doctor...Any idea on what it could be?..Some mornings are worse than others..and it seems to move from tooth to tooth...with the pain disappearing in one and moving to another..my gums are not red or inflamed...but they hurt and are extremely sensitive...is it my wisdom teeth?? I'm 24..I thought if I had problems I'd have had them by now?...

I am on a weight loss program at the moment and I want to start having rice salad for my lunches, does anyone have any good recipes that are low in fat and sugar but still taste good? or does rice salad have too many carbs for someone who is trying to lose weight?

Also if I made the salad on a sunday and kept it in a container in the fridge, would it keep till friday as it would be easier to make it on the weekend and dish it out each day?
