First of all, how tall would you like to be?

I personally think that girls should be between 5' to 5'6", and even 5'6" is tall. Listen, girls are more attractive when they aren't tall. Being tall means you will have big feet, big hands, big eveything. And that ain't lovely, well least when you think of when they will get old and sag. (sorry)

Anyways, you ain't alone in your wishes. I want to be taller. I'm only 5'6", but you shouldn't feel bad about it. People like Carmen Electra and Jennifer love Hewitt stand only about 5'3", and people don't seem bothered by it. It's who they are and the impression they give.

A tall person, especially a guy, will most usually be seen as strong and powerfull, but hey, if they had a squicky voice, forget it, it kills the first impression. And a small guy with a deep voice will be highly respected for the tone of his voice and appearance. Yeah, we are weird in the way we see the world. But it's all about how we see it. The images we see and the images we want to copy. I'm sure you are a beautiful girl, just like the many I have met. But I'll tell you one thing that is always true, a girl who boasts about who and what she is will always be hideous, even if she had the looks. Guys like confident girls, but those bithcy ones who don't know how to put others above themselves and be humble are worthless. I'm not saying to consider yourself 'no good' but if you think being tall will make you more attractive, strong, beautifull, etc. than you are wrong, because, yes, a guy will go for looks, but personality is what sets you apart from others.

If you still want to grow, which I don't blame you for, than consider these few options:
•Exercise - do enough stretching
•Eat well, and not too healthy, fat is also good, and a lot of protein
•Sleep A LOT, keep a good sleeping habit, and sleep well
•Stay away from bad stress, which will keep your body from functioning properly, and that includes negative thinking, especially about yourself
•Above all, enjoy your life

Generally a girl will only grow 2 inches after she has started her first period. I took my 2 yr old for a check up. The Dr. told me you subtract 5 inches from the fathers height and add the mothers height and divide by 2 and that is what your height will most likely be. I'm only 5'2 and I have always liked that height b/c I stood out in a good way. I have always found that it is easier to change your mind about your appearance then it is to change your appearance. God created you to be just as you are and other than going through painful leg lengthening surgery (and unless you are a dwarf I doubt thou are a candidate for that procedure), you will need to get a change of attitude.

My daughter was 5'1" in high school and complained about it and I told her good things come in small packages and to be Happy with how the Lord created her and she is a very well adjusted active delightful person in Christ.

T.V. showed a documentary on a man 8'4" tall and a woman over 7' tall and their lives are miserable. Be thankful and quit obsessing about yourself and get a life!Develope a personality that attracts friends to you-happy,outgoing,fun otherwise you will be miserable and no one will want to be around you. Make the most of what and who you are and can be but it is up to you to make choices!

I don't know. Im 15 and im 5'7. I used to play around when i was a kid and sing a song called "i wish i was taller"

Well, in the 5th grade i went from 4'11 to 5'2" and now im taller than most of my friends (with the exception of the ones on the female basketball team)

I'm 40 yrs old & 4'11". When I was a kid I used to hang from our swingset, hoping that would make me taller. Unfortunately there's nothing you can do about your genes. You still have a few years of growth, from the sound of it. Be patient. What's so bad about 5'2", anyway?
