I can't enough of them. I used to never eat them now that's all I want. With meals at bed time and as a snack. Every one thinks I'm wierd. Is their any nutrient value? They don't cause heartburn or anything. Im eating one now

Absolute great food. The brighter the veggies the better and more nutrition they have. RAW is excellent, cooking destroys the nutrition. The red ones have great levels of lutein and help the eyes. and great preventive of lots of diseases. You eat all you want. Actually your body is craving those items and it will tell you when to move on.

In the past it was recommended that we get at least 5 servings of fruits and veggies (that 1/2 to 1 cup per each) and almost no one did that....The current scientific thought is that we need 9 to 15 servings per day for good health. That is because current fruits and veggies are picked green which means no nutrition when they come to us. And they are harvested somewhere in the world 3 weeks ago and refrigerated and gassed and nukes and shipped so they don't have any nutrition when we get them. Then we take them home and cook out whatever good stuff they may have had. And the soils are being depleted and bombarded with chemicals and that will negatively effect our food.

Enjoy them!

Raw fruit and veg is good for you. 3/4 per day of anything never hurt anyone. If you have 20 a day you need to start asking questions.

That's good. I wish I craved peppers the way I crave chocolate, and I would be a much healthier person.

Enjoy your fibre and vitamins.

You might be Vitamin C deficient. They certainly won't hurt you if you eat a lot of them. They just make you burpy.
