Are they really going to help me lose weight? I am looking to lose 50lbs by May 08 for my sisters wedding.
I go to the qym and work out for and hour and take my puppy for a walk every morning for 30 min. Also I am lowering my calorie intake to between 1200-1300 calories a day. Do you think I can do it?

On Thanksgiving when my family went to my aunt's, my uncle had what my aunt beleived to be a stomach bug. He stayed in his room the whole time. The next day, everyone in my aunt's family had come down with it. On Saturday, my brother woke up with uncontrollable vomiting, and such bad diarreah (sp?), that he honestly didn't know which one was coming first. He was so sick, he couldn't make it to the toilet 2 times and ended up getting sick in bed, and was down with this sickness for about 48 hours. Last night, me and my mom were talking about how lucky we were to miss out on it. Then at 3 this morning, she got violently ill. I'm extremellllyyy scared....I can't miss work, and I have a huge phobia of throwing up; infact I dont think I have since about 2nd grade and I'm 22! I know its a dumb question, but what can I do to protect myself? I take prenatal vitamins on a regular basis, but what else can I do to ensure I hopefully wont get this?

Ive been working out and watching my calories, ive lost 25 pounds 195 to 170 but I only seemed to have lost it around my stomache i messered my arms legs, ect before i started and i just remesserd today and they are the same the only thing ive changed was my stomache.

I went to the doctor today to get a test done and the nurse giving me the shot didn't wear gloves. I'm phobic of HIV. Terrified!!!! Shouldn't she have worn gloves? Should I freak out? I never look when I get a shot. What is she stuck herself? Is this just my anxiety/ phobia?

have a strong sex drive and dont like having to miss out on sex for 5 days during my period. I never have sex with my boyfriend during this time because i just asume he will be turned off. Does anyone regularly have sex during their period? Isnt it okay just to hop in the shower and do it there? Or will my man be able to notice, like will he see blood when he pulls out?

Hi... I ended up at the ER yesterday with horrible pain in my chest that had been steadily increasing over a few days. At the ER I had a normal EKG, normal chest x-ray, no blood clots, etc... all the tests for serious stuff were normal. The doc said he thinks I am having some upper GI irritation and probably some acid reflux, likely due to an antiobiotic I'm still on and a steroid dose pack I was on for a sinus infection. I also have taken quite a bit of Ibuprofen and Excedrin over the past month for headaches related to the sinus problem. Doc prescribed Prevacid 30 mg once a day. I took one yesterday afternoon, and one this morning. So far I don't really feel better... the chest discomfort is still there, often spreading up through my chest to my neck. It's such an awful feeling. How long should I expect it to take to feel some relief from the Prevacid? Does this in fact sound like reflux/heartburn? It's miserable, and it's pretty constant, whether I've eaten or not.

im a 20 year old female. I had a messed up family life( parents divorced, almost no contact to my father). I juss wanted to ask if u could give me any advices how to get through this time. Im a verrryyy self conscious girl to the point i analyze what people tell me, i analyze my bodylanguage when i am with ppl, obsess about what i will say, so most of the time i say stupid stuff because i overanalyze everything. Im pretty nervous, and the worst is that i overanalyze all aspects of life, to the point where im only stuck in THINKING about life instead of LIVING it nd actually doing stuff. Im pretty depressed and anxious. I have difficulties with focusing, cuz im occupied with thinking about how ill behave, or what decision ill make next. I decided to change, to become more active, but realizing that this is hard makes me pretty depressed at times. it makes me think that i am the way that i am, and theres no use in trying to change! im working on avoiding such tthoughts. Any motivation???

I bought these back in Sept. at Lenscrafters. I paid almost 500 bucks. So the lenses are scotchguard etc. I noticed that I have small cracks at the edges of my glasses. My glasses are plastic. I plan to call them regarding this problem, but before I open my mouth, what should I not do?
Oh and I was my glasses with soap and water like they said with the lense cloth.

I'm quite young and started my period in the middle of August, I then had my nxt period around the same time in September but a few days later, perfectly normal. But its now almost December and i haven't had it since September. I'm really worried. My mum says its nothing, sh says periods come when they need to basicly. But just in case, am i Okay?
