its perfectly normal for your periods not to be regular at first. it will come when it is ready. Make sure you always keep some pad or tampon with you in case you start. Good luck!

It probably just means you have a heavy flow. Nothing to really be concerned about I'd say. How long have you had your period ? Because normally it starts to get a little less heavy after a year or two of having it (I had the very same problem). I still have a very heavy flow, but it has gotten lighter over time. If you're worried about leaking, try wearing a super tampon as well as a pad during the day, and change it as frequently as possible. Also, if your really worried about your flow being too heavy, talk to your doctor about it.

Because you are just starting out with having your periods it is normal for them to be irregular at times over the first couple years or so. This irregularity occurs because your body is trying to adjust to the changes going on inside of it.

I would recommend checking with your doctor as well to see what they say.

Yes, they can be irregular for awhile. Mine were "regularly" over 2 months apart for the first year or so, maybe longer.
If you're sexually active, though, consider that you may be pregnant & get checked.

Mom know best, mostley cuz they have been thru it. There is nothing wrong, and it takes time to be regular. Good advice from Julie; always be prepared cuz you never know when it will hit.
