I went to the gynecologist for an exam to go on the pill. My pap smear came back abnormal. When I looked up common causes of an abnormal result, one was HPV virus. I have always been very careful about safe sex but also saw that HPV can be transmitted even when using a condom. I have not been on the pill long enough to use it as a reliable method of birth control so my boyfriend and I have continued to have protected sex. (We are in a long-term, committed relationship. I'm 28, he's 27.) I would be devastated if I passed along an STD to him, unaware that I had it myself. Is there an easy, specific test for HPV? Thank you very much.

so, im having my first heavy period [4th time having it about]

im just now understand the annoyance.

so my day went-

i wake up to find that somehow the night time pad didnt cut it, and it past the pad andgot on my bed sheets.

its so gross to have blood basically in between your butt, almost, AND DRY BY THEN.

and it continues to go there during the day, making it itchy and disgusting.

i feel so gross, i just want to skip school, and stay in water.

so i had to change my pad a lot, and when i did get the chance at school my pad was full, and i already felt unconfortable.

then when i get home after awhille i take a shower, it use to be that i could just get out and my period wouldnt start up again for 10 minutes, i cant even get out of the shower without blood dripping on the floor or running down my leg.


bleh, please help me with these problems, its been a long day.

I went to the hospital the other night because I was having minor chest pains and they ran a bunch of tests and checked my blood and said everthing was fine that I wasn't going to have a heart attack or anything but I went to the doc. today and he said that I had Sinusitis and gave me some antibiotics and some decongestant pills. My question is I quess, Can prescription drugs cause you to have chest pains? I have this sharp pain that is coming and going on the upper left part of my chest. any helpful info would much appriciated.

When its non-erect it seems to pull back just fine but when it IS erect it hurts slightly to pull it over the head, is there a way to fix this? im still young (14) and im not sure if this is normal

And on another note, may i ask what the average size of a penis is at my age?

i am almost 12, I'm turning 12 in November, and i have a question bout wen I'm gonna get my period

-i have had brests for 1 year and couple months
-pubiic hair for 1 year and couple months
-i have had armpit hair for about 7-8 months
-i have had discharge for about 6-7 months
- i weigh 93, for the past couple of days i have been stuffing my self ( chocolate the most now)
-i am 5"0 or 5"1
-i also get cramps, like today after lunch like 5 min. after lunch like i was carrying my binder against my stomach, like facing out, not up against my body, and whenever i barely even pressed it hurt.......... but i get cramps below the stomach tpp


How soon? how many months? weeks? stuff like that?

oh yeah if you have any stories about when you got it please share to tell, like embarrassing or funny, or awkward like ANYTHING! so i can prepare 4 it. thanks!

My wisdom tooth on my left side has been trying to come through for years. It's finally made some progress, but it won't stop throbbing! I can hardly talk or eat. I feel like it's poking though to my cheek. Is there any way I can help it along? Is this a sure sign that it will need to be pulled? Can I prevent it from being pulled somehow? Personally I have been doing it for a few weeks now and its freaking awesome! I hear some people say some crap that it is bad but did you know people who work out anaerobically have as much as 530% more HGH in their system? And a lot more energy...

i have this rash in my vaginal area, and i dont know what its from. i had my period a few days ago and i wore pantyliners, which is when it started irritating. but now its inflamed and my periods been over for days. its reddish and bumpy, and itches a lot. it doesn't really burn anymore. symptoms seem like herpes but thats really not likely considering i havn't had sexual activity in a very very long time. i had sex once, and that was a year ago.. so i dont know im assuming its a yeast infection? i dont have a gynacologist so im not sure what i can really do right now..

symptoms:

I. I freak out doing public speaking
1.my heart races like crazy, my voice staggers, my hands shake, everything in me becomes cold and shivery, I can't concentrate

II. I don't like public areas/events
1.i dont like going to public things where there are plenty of people staring and walking; i always feel like im the center of attention to them.
2.i dont like asking employees or any stranger for help or anything like that at a public place. i prefer to do shopping and things on the net where i dont have to talk to anyone. even talking on the phone with strangers doesn't suit me.

III. i freak out before taking MAJOR exams (like APs)
1.I always believe that i dont have enough information in my head and my heart beats pretty fast when i come upon something that i didnt study--even if i know the majority of the rest of the questions.

IV. im VERY sensitive to even the most unharmful insults/mean comments, questions/critiques

what is this and how do i treat this?

The reason I ask if that my 66 year old father recently had a blood transfusion due to loss of blood from a procedure. Since then he has acted sort of strange as in talking ALOT .....alot more than he ever use to. Someone had told me they thought there was something that can make a person act that way after having a blood transfusion but they didnt know what it was called...anyway just need any info if anyone has any idea on this type of stuff.... i would really appreciate it.

Here is the description of my ring:

14KT White Gold
20 Tapered baguette & round diamonds
w/ a 1/10 carat marquise center
equaling 1/4 carat T.W.

I am not able to wear any kind of fake jewelry, such as: cheap watches, rings, earrings & necklaces...if i do wear fake jewelry, i get this red rash and it itches constantly...i had this ring my fiance gave me back when we were dating and it was so pretty, apparently it was something my skin was allergic to and it gave me a red rash on my finger from where the ring was and it constantly itched.

Does anyone know what is wrong and if i could possibly do something for my engagement ring so that i can wear it? We're getting married in a month and im wanting to wear it then, i have been wanting to wear it for the longest time but i cant =[

I got my llip pierced 4 days ago (straight titanium stud, longer bar for swelling), by a well recommended and skilled pro. Most of the swelling has gone down and it looks great, but on the inside it is still swollen, taking up the whole bar. One the back (inside my mouth) where the stud sits, it feels like it is sinking into my mouth and there is this little red circle that the back of the stud is sitting in. It looks like the regular pinky flesh is starting to cover it, or something.

Does anyone (preferably someone with experience with this problem) know what this is or if it's a problem, and if so, what I should do?
