Your body could just be going through a change. Have you recently lost a lot of weight, or gained? Are you stressed out lately. These are all contributing factors.

Not every woman has normal periods. I am lucky if I have 2 or 3 a year. It is just something that happens to some woman especially if you are stressed, or have lost a lot of weight or if you are exercising more than your used to.

You are probably absolutely fine but you just start going to the ob/gyn once a year at your age anyway. Go in for a check up.

Check with your Doctor. Maybe your estrogen level has dropped below normal or your starting to have some thyroid issues. For some, it is normal to have their cycle every few months. Just monitor that it does not go less than 2 - 3 per year according to our MD because the uterus needs to be lubricated.

If you havent had sex then you have nothing to worry about on that end, but if your hormones could be a out of tune with your body, if you are into sports or working out that could also stop your period, bad eating habits... Go talk to a doctor, they should be able to tell weather it's a chemical imbalance, hormonal, your food intake...etc...good luck!!!

Irregular periods may be the result of hormone shifts, nutrition, physical activity (especially if you are an athlete) and stress. It may be worth a visit to your doctor to rule out anything physically amiss. Birth control pills can be used to help regulate hormone levels and make your menstrual cycle more predictable. Good luck.

Could just be becuase you are young. Or could be a number of reasons.

You should start getting a normal checkup now that you are 18 and you can talk to a Dr then. Sometimes being put a birthcontrol helps to regulate it.

when did you start your first period?

if it was less than five years ago you might not have regular periods yet so nothing to worry about.

if you've had it for more than five years then you should be a bit worried, if you dont get it after three and a half/four months i would see a doctor or talk to an expert.

Sweety go have a check up...before you get a clot or something....but it is very irregular....your periods are a way for your body to cleanse itself it that is not done its dangerous.
You may get a pill that acts as a birth control but creates more regular flow...best of luck

What is your exercise routine? Women who exercise an excessive amount do stop hormone production. If this is not the case you need to see the doctor just to make sure that hormonally everything is okay. If something is amiss early diagnosis is important.
