Here is the description of my ring:

14KT White Gold
20 Tapered baguette & round diamonds
w/ a 1/10 carat marquise center
equaling 1/4 carat T.W.
(.23 - .28 carat T.W.)

I am not able to wear any kind of fake jewelry, such as: cheap watches, rings, earrings & necklaces...if i do wear fake jewelry, i get this red rash and it itches constantly...i had this ring my fiance gave me back when we were dating and it was so pretty, apparently it was something my skin was allergic to and it gave me a red rash on my finger from where the ring was and it constantly itched.

Does anyone know what is wrong and if i could possibly do something for my engagement ring so that i can wear it? We're getting married in a month and im wanting to wear it then, i have been wanting to wear it for the longest time but i cant =[

if you know anything, please share ur ideas, thanks !!

Talk to the jeweller about coating the ring with laquer.

Try to put clear nail polish on the inside of the ring. This will create a barrier between you skin and the ring after a while it will rub off just reapply as needed.

You just may have very sensitive skin so the best I can think of ,,,although it sounds tacky..is to put nail polish around the inside rim . My skin is sensitive too maybe it's just the white gold because I had that problem from an ex's ring. I wear a gold one now and it doesn't bother me . I wish you and your mate the best. goodf luck

It could be the low quality of the jewlery. It could be the low quality white gold that's causing you problems.
