I am 35 years old and am breastfeeding our 5 months old son. My husband gives him one bottle at night but otherwise he is ONLY breastfed. I have been having period-like cramps (not heavy) for almost 3 weeks now but no period. I took a pregnancy test a month ago and again yesterday which were both negative just to make sure. I was taking the mini pill but stopped about a month ago because it was making me feel sick. We also use condoms as a back-up. We did fool around a little without a condom once about a month and a half ago but we didnt continue without a condom and I was taking the mini pill too without fail at the same time every day. I dont have any other sings of pregnancy either so I was wondering why I have period like cramps and no period. I have not started my period since my son was born but for the last few weeks, it feels like I am going to start but there is nothing other than the cramping. Is this hormonal?It is scaring me. I do to the doc Friday but I am worried

My whole body gets stiffer and stiffer but if you touch me Im hard. i am overweight and i should feel squishy and pokey not hard and firm. Also it is painful. i am swelling up and stiffing up and no doctor has found anything to be wrong with me other that my weight. the pain is overwhelming most of the time. i can't bend over, my mid section is too hard!!!

They are disgusting and painful...I keep trying to pull them out with tweezers. They keep growing back that way...help! Anyone know a good solution. Or should I go to the doctor?

okay this is weird but sometimes when i fall asleep ill like i guess wake myself up. im not sure but like ill like jolt and pop my head up and open my eyes. lol and then ill be up.
espeically if i dont wanna fall asleep and i do. ill do that and just sometimes i do it naturally. its like when someone scares you and you jump thats what my body does and i wake up.
what is that? its odd.

My mother had a facelift 3 or 4 weeks ago. She's complaining about having wrinkles on her face. I don't know how to comfort her anymore (she feels like she paid too much for her to have wrinkles--but she's 60 and I keep telling her that she can't look like a 20 year old or it'd be weird!). However, she's really down about it and I hate to see her like this since she was so excited before to get it done. Anything I could say to her that would help? Does anyone know how long it would take to see the full results of the facelift (I have the feeling she still has some swelling that's causing some wrinkles)? Is there anything that would help diminish the wrinkles that are left over? I'd really like her to be happy with her face, because she looks great! Thanks.

I realize that the fit of dentures with newly extracted teeth will be contiunually adjusted but it's been 2 weeks and eating is very difficult. I can't tell if food is inbetween my gums and teeth unless i feel around with my fingers. my bite is first on the teeth next to the 'canine teeth.' so when i chew i'm continually loosening the upper back seal. my right uppper side teeth are bigger than the left side. i just feel awful. i hate to smile and i speak with a lispe. i'm extremely embarassed to eat anything in public cause i can't tell if food is still in my mouth. my dentist says. "ohhh their not that bad, you just need to get used to them." I'm young and was really looking forward to pretty, white pearls, not oversized uneven buck teeth. is any of this normal for dentures.

Knowing the BRIGHT computer screen isn't helping, I'll make it quick...

I've had massive migraines/throwing up because so every day for the last week. I was taking hydrocodone (a generic brand of it) last week due to a complex cyst....blah blah blah... any way, I'm coming off of it last Wednesday and I've had the WORST migraines (mainly in the front, center, forehead region of my head) and I dunno what to do or if it's bc of the codone (it was my 1st time to take it) any answers? i've been taking excedrin migraine pills but that seems to not work... head on only burns after so many times of applying... pressure on my head feels o.k. but then hurts after stopping.. my eyes hurt... ya know, typical bad migraine gone crazy for a WEEK. plus, i'm missing all my college classes b/c it's been so bad.

ok, enough venting here.... thanks for whoever can help and feels my pain :-/

slightly more than a month ago, i started taking dexamed and erlone for my ezcema..and by then i think i had already finished my period...but a week later my period came again. i didnt think it was caused by that as on that same week i also took painkillers as i had just done surgery to remove my wisdom tooth. and just last week, i had gone to see the doc about my ezcema again cos i had somehow got it on my face and he gave me erlone and dexamed again to take...and just recently again..my period again one week after i had finished. that session atthe doctors i had done a test for UTI but he says it seems to have been cleared.
i am confused and frustrated..cos seems alot of things have been happening to my body as of late.
are the meds doing this??

I had an Upper GI today (the barium swallow test) and as I was looking at the screen, they showed my stomach. On the screen (due to the barium) made my stomach black, but there were white dots here and there. Even on the duadom (sp?). I asked my dad about it and he said that those are starts of stomach ulcers. Apparantly, I've been under so much stress that my stomach is producing too much acid and in so little words, eating my stomach and intestines alive. I can't wrap my brain around it. I know it's treatable but still, it's so shocking.

Has anybody else had this? Can someone tell me if they had an Upper GI and what they got back as results? Is it normal to be acting like this? I'm worried, yet calm and relieved.
