lol its not that im not tired cuz i am.
i was staying the night with my boyfriend last night and we were up pretty late we went to a friends house watched some movies went back did some naughty things which wore me out i basically kept myself up for like an hour after and then after then i just couldnt stay up so i fell alseep and all of a sudden i did that and he was like WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU? and i was like idk. i do that sometimes. i dont recall having bad dreams and when i do have bad dreams it doesnt really bother me. i think it might be because i dont wanna fall asleep and then i accidentally do so thats how my body wakes its self.

I'm not too worried about it, really. I wouldn't worry about it. Don't worry about it. I'm not worried at all.

Sleep paralysis, possibly. It can happen when you are overtired, over-stressed or constantly worrying about things. You need to see a doctor first to make sure there's no physical abnormalities, and then see a therapist who can teach you relaxation techniques for de-stressing and de-cluttering your mind before you go to sleep. Or you can take books out of the library and teach these techniques to yourself. You can also borrow CDs from the library and there are many good CDs that use relaxation techniques or hypnosis to help you fall asleep in a relaxed state. As for "jinn" - I'm not sure what your beliefs are, but if it were me I'd be telling my brother to F'off with his witchcraft and black magic garbage. It isn't real and all it's doing is contributing to your problems. There's no such thing as "jinn", "black angels", etc. Whatever "touched" your leg that day was either the sheet sliding around or it was a spasm within your leg muscle.

I have had that too. Usually when I'm dreaming and running away and fall off a cliff- thats when I wake up with a jolt.

I'm sure theres a medical term for it. Maybe you have sleep apnea and when you stop breathing that wakes you up???

NO its NOT. (if you are very young)
If older, say over 30 (and thats ONLY an estimate on age)
your sub-conscious mind may be worried about 'something'
See your Doctor and discuss this. Mention/ask if Sleep Ap.. is playing a part.
Its NOT that ODD.
At your age, perhaps you shouldnt worry too much about this "problem'.

Several possible causes, just from thoughts running through your mind to something more serious like sleep apnia (you stop breathing when you sleep and wake up as a response).

Happens to me too, usually when I'm stressed out about something. If that happens I take a benadryl the next night to be sure I sleep well that night.

Completly normal, i dont remember the scientific name for it but it is perfectly normal...If it does bother you i would talk to your parents about it or ask a HPP just to ease your mind!

Don't know what the medical term is, but it is quite normal.

Annoying, but normal.
