I'm a 25 female. I have been waking up every morning with a very sore throat and very swollen lymph nodes in the throat but within an hour of waking up the pain and swelling are both gone. I have no other symptoms other than that. This condition can last for months :(, I also feel mucous standing in my throat and casnt get rid of it.Sometimes I also wake up with a bitter taste in my mouth, dunno if all these symptoms are related. I dont suffer from any other diseases, only Anemia though (although I believe I improved a lot). What do you think the reason is? and is there a way to treat it naturally??? I hate medicine :((

I recently found out from my girlfriend that she has Herpes simplex type 1. I got tested and I am too positive. I am currently going to nursing school. Will that affect my career at all even though I will be receiving treatments for this problem? helllpp!!!!

I get it all the time, every day, all month. been like this since I was about 12, about a few months before I got my first period when I was 12. Its like having a ultra light period every day. I used to use pantyliners all day and night, but lately I've realised its a waste of money. at some times of the month, its really heavy as well.

Also, my period before last was 2 weeks early, and the last was 1 week early.

I'm 14

this normal?

hi.... i am 19 years old.... and my periods are extremely painful and heavy. i can barely make it out of bed the first 2 days. i have had all sorts of hormonal exams and ultrasound to get my ovaries and uterus checked. all the results are normal. i am not sexually active and do not intend to be till i am married. and that wont b happening till im 25 or something. i am not sure what i shud do. the pain is unbearable. what are the alternatives i can turn to? birth control pills? anything other that surgery? plz help. i am in gr8 discomfort. and taking painkillers is not the answer. tried that.

I have a cast on from 3 surgeries I had 2 weeks ago. I just got my cast changed for the 2nd time on Friday and I can see down into it and it is bleeding alot. The cast smells horrible too after only 4 days. The incision is about 6 inches long. What should I do?

I'm asking this on behalf of my 12 year old friend who has anorexia at a very low weight and is currently in an inpatient ward at a Nottingham hosptial. She's asked if you can refuse treatment and at what age that's possible in the UK. I thought maybe 16/18? She's specifically asked; "What age can you refuse to be force fed?"

So I told her I'd find out, but, I'm not necerssarily going to tell her the answer, I don't wanna make her worse.

I am on Ortho tri cyclen lo and take it consistently at the same time every day. I have been on the pill for over a year and have always had light spotting between periods.
I am expecting my period sometime next week. I finish this month's pack of pills on Saturday and start my placebo pills on Sunday, I usually get my period by Wednesday.
This morning when I went to the restroom I noticed a bright red, somewhat heavy streak on my t.p. This is different than my usual spotting (usually my spotting is browner, lighter, and can last for more than a day). I only had the spotting the one time this morning, no other time throughout the day. This sounds somewhat like implantation bleeding to me - could it be anything else??
I have been feeling a little "off," lately and have suffered some minor constipation, if that could be related. This suspicious spotting - could this be implantation bleeding? And since I'm not expecting my period until next week, is it too early to take a preg test?

I find my refined and iodised salt just a bit too toxically salty...I want to switch over to Himalyan salt..but then how to compensate for iodine in daily diet?....
and no...I cannot eat sea fish everyday.....
should I grind and add kelp or some other weed to my salt?

suggestions welcome.........
