Absolutly. Water absorbs toxins and any extra fat and then you eliminate it. For weight loss i suggest drinking a gallon of water a day. Gallon of water a day is ideal anyway, for anyone. Everyone says at LEAST 8 glasses of 8oz water. But to maximize your health, go for a gallon. It may take a while getting used to drinking so much, not to mention training your bladder again, but after a while your bladder will realize what you are doing, and strengthen. I also drink a glass of water with organic apple cider vinegar mix in it before i eat, this helps raise your metabolism before you start eating so all the food you eat will be used correctly, for energy. Taking a multi vitamin will help as well. Remember for every pill you take, no matter what it is, you should drink 8oz of water with it. Water also helps your body absorb nutrients that it needs for energy and overall health.

Yes. When you become dehydraded your metabolism slows down. Drinking water keeps your metabolism going.

When you diet, you get less water from your food, because you aren't eating as much, so you will need to drink more to replace it.

Water eliminates toxins from your system, and also provides sweat when you exercise.

Drinking water alone wont help you lose weight, but it is essential when you are on a diet.

To a certain degree, yes. Our bodies need water and drinking too little can give headaches, a feeling of tiredness etc. Water also can fill you up if you are hungry. Besides, we often confuse thirst with hunger and eat more if we're thirsty.

It's one of the things that makes weight loss save. Fat metabolizes into ketones which are toxic especially to your nervous system. Drinking water helps your kidneys to get rid of it.

it certainly does, it does it by flushing out toxins from your body, drinking water before a meal will start to fill your stomach before you start eating, which will enable you to give yourself a smaller portion of food without feeling hungry when youve finished eating, however i dont recomend you do this whithout having easy access to a toilet.
also try putting PLJ [pure lemon juice} in the water, the acid from the lemon burns fat, but make sure you read the RDA on the bottle, PLJ is next to the cordials on the supermarket shelves

Yes, drink a large glass of water before each meal and you won't eat so much as the water will fill you up. Please make sure you take your regular intake of calories in a well balanced diet though otherwise you will become seriously ill.

It certainly helps - half a pint of ice cold water 20 minutes before a meal fools your tummy into thinking its full quicker and often when you feel peckish, you are actually thirsty, so water works. Added benefit is the action on your skin too!
