Health - 23 October 2007

My tooth is hurting really bad, but only when i like bite down on it or if i eat something, which causes me to bite down on it. I have seen some other ones saying if it always hurts it's a rootcanal, but it like, i can barely feel if it hurts or not when i'm not biting on it. Is it a cavity or rootcanal?

I have aches and pains that get quite bad. Sometimes one part of body then it goes and somewhere else hurts. I went on Fibromyalgia website and took test that said I had 80% chance of having it yet when mentioned to doctor I was dismissed. Would like to know what are specific symptons?

Hi, I got glasses a week ago and the eye doctor said my right eye was -1.75 and my left eye was -2.25. I forgot to ask him what these numbers were and how bad my eyes are. He just told me that I needed glasses from long time ago. Can anybody tell me if my eyes are bad? I know I'm near sighted but that's all I know... Thanks.

What should I do? We just had unprotected sex 2 days ago!!! Couldn't he have told me before that! I'm upset but if I were in his shoes I'd be scared to death to tell my partner also. He says he's been taking two pills a day and hasn't had an outbreak in years... so does that mean I wouldn't contract it as long as he takes his medication? I want to stay with him but I have so many mixed feelings about this. Also, he has diabetes and he can't ejaculate (something about it going to his bladder -- what the heck??) I think he may have too much baggage to carry out a relationship but I still like him so much!! and I'm glad he told me, any other guy would never have the balls... any advice, thoughts, PLEEEASE!! Thank you

i have been told that fasting is really good for your digestive system because it gives it a break. i know someone who fasted for three days and he said he felt the best he has ever felt on the third day. he felt cleansed.

i had weird hairs under there long time ago, just started to grow out of no where, well a few years ago i did the dumbest thing..shave it! now i have to keep shaving it and its getting irritating. what can i do to stop it? waxing hurts too much. is there any cream or something i can use to stop the growing??? Ive been in love with a wonderful man for years . He like me found himself at the loosing end in his first , and like me , long suffering marriage of over twenty years . He has three children two of which lived at home at the time that he invited me to move in , His youngest son still lives with us and I have become a prisoner in a small part of our home because his son has been having bowel movements in his pants and wearing his clothing like that all day long . Only bathing when we force the issue . He has had extensive testing . Hundreds of thousands of dollors in medical test all showing that he is in no way incontinent . He picks his nose and eats the dried mucous and digs at his anus all the time . I am ill and must take powerful medications that kill my immune system and as a result of the things mentioned above I have had staph twice in my arm that wouldnt get well on meds . I clean with disinfectants all the time and Im at a complete loss of what to do because he wont stop .

I'm a 23 year old asian female that is not athletic and is on a "loose" macrobiotic diet (i induldge in beef 2x a month and ice cream). I do light jogging on a tredmill 3-6 times a month for 30-45 mins. I have a resting pulse rate of 57bpm. I'm a bit concerned because I haven't been able to sleep well. Like I lie awake in bed at night staring at the ceiling. I check my pulse to make sure I'm not just anxious but I can't figure it out. Anyway are there any cons to have a 57 bpm? I know the pros.

He is only 20 years old, but his feet are weird, with rough skin on the bottoms, and he's always picking at them. What is with that? Has anyone else seen a young guy with that? He does swim a lot and is quite an athlete, but it's not athlete's foot, I know because I've seen both....I am his aunt, and he has no idea that I am asking? He picks at his heels like a bad habit....
