ANY TYPE OF CANCER IS NOT CONTAGIOUS. Even though doctors can seldom explain why one person gets cancer and another does not, it is clear that cancer is not caused by an injury, such as a bump or bruise. And although being infected with certain viruses may increase the risk of some types of cancer, cancer is not contagious; no one can "catch" cancer from another person.

Certain viruses are instrumental for getting Cancer and you may get such virus only no the Cancer.-

Colon cancer is NOT contagious. You can NOT catch colon cancer. I do hope you are treating someone who is going though something like that with more respect than it sounds like you are. CANCER IS NOT CONTAGIOUS!!!! Cancer is a horrific disease to go through let alone to be around people whose only thought is that it's catching, how ignorant.

Educate yourself!

You don't catch it from another person, but some experts think that a diet high in red meat or low in fibre adds to the risk. If it is detected early it can be cured. Ask a doctor about tests if you are worried.
