One of my problems is Pelvic Congestion Syndrome and one way I knew something was wrong was when I saw some of the veins in my vulvar (the external genital area) sticking out. Also, when I had pain I thought it was due to my endometriosis and when my doctor took me in to surgery in 2003 to find out the status of my endometriosis she found I had Pelvic Congestion Syndrome.

Sometimes hormone medications like the pill can be helpful but others find that they may have to get specialized treatment from a doctor called an interventional radiologist to try and help the veins.

Pelvic Congestion Syndrome is the name for varicose veins of the pelvis.

Unfortunately there's still not a lot of information out there about this condition because doctors don't see it that often.

If you have other questions for me please feel free to e-mail or IM me off site any time.
