I had to use a public restroom and there was what looked like fresh urine on the floor. I tried my best to step over it, but I really had to go. Do you think there is any HIV or other risk from this kind of exposure?

My little brother was playing with a glow stick and it bursted in his face. The glow-in-the-dark liquid got in his eyes, and we rinsed them out thoroughly with water but now they are a little red and swollen. Should we take him to the doctor to get his eyes checked?

i think i may have a condition (i can't for the life of me spell it) that involves giving up sugar completely and introducing it back in again slowly to treat it. and i'm freaking out because i love bread, pasta, chocolate, cookies...anything sugar-y. my question is basically does anyone know of any good foods i could live off of that are 100% sugar free? (i've got rice cakes on my list...that's it.)

I have a boyfriend and i heard from at least a couple people that MY boyfriend has a STD (clymadia).
So i decided to ask him if he has it and if it was true. He told me that after he had sex with other girls he got checked.

What guys get checked? He doesnt seem the type that would.

I remember WAY before asking him that some "birdie" telling me he gave it to a 15 yr old girl (at the time my BF was 25) and he said "NO it was a 17 yr old..."

Im beginning to think he's lieing to me about the fact he has an STD.
Should i go in with him to the Doctors so i know he's ACATUALLY getting checked, just to make sure?
Or should i dump my BF and move on?

I read an article on astigmatism and it said this "Sometimes astigmatism can be detected by an individual if he covers one eye to look at an object, and then changes to cover the other eye. By switching back and forth between covering each eye while looking at the single object or in one direction, it will become apparent with astigmatism that the object seems to move, as though each eye is seeing it in a slightly different location." I thought this was normal due to slightly different position of each eye? The object definitely moved for me.....Let me know what happens for you

My older sister was insititutionalized for most of her life and eventually ended her life. I am scared that I will end up just like her. My family frown on depression/weakness, especially by brother. I fear if I listen to my dr's order about taking a medical leave of absence from school, I will never return. I'll just end up like my sister with no hope of a future. I'm scared to put my parents whom I love in that position again. They are very fragile and will only get depressed themselves. My father recently had a heart attack and my mother has surgery. The argue almost every day over stupid things. I know they get depressed sometimes when they wake up early and mutter to themselves. I can't cope hearing their sadness, disappointments, bitterness in life. I can't cope being a failure to them. I also can't stop being weak. I can't force myself to do my school work like I use to. I feel like this situation may be permanent. I can't stop crying. I have little options.

I have used Depo Proera on and off now for about 8 years. I began due to Endometriosis and it was a perfect solution to cease menstration and try to reduce the severity and pain. NOTHING ELSE HAD WORKED! (Even steriods and i had been diagnosed at twelve so i had many years of experiements). I stopped having the injection to conceive our children (and was very fortunate - it only took about a year). Now, due to painful menstration AND wanting adequate contraception, i commenced the injections once again. I have now been experiencing several side effects including headaches - everyday, joint pain, and i began menstrating again etc etc. Sick of whinging. So now i have stopped them for about two months. In that time i have been menstrating every week. One week off, one week on etc.

Have you experienced this? Any suggestions? Doc is at a loss and i feel like im back to square one. Any sites you can suggest? It would be most welcomed.

About half way through my cycle and before my period I get menstrual cramps in my lower back. All my sisters and friends get their cramps in the abdomin region, so I'm wondering if this is something that other women experience as well. Thanks ladies!
