there are alot out there now that can go from -20 to a + 12. some offices only use certain contacts or providers, but other offices use others that have a broader selection. find a odctor who consults a t.y.(doc spec book lets say) they show all makers and all rx ranges available. it also depens on your rx. if you're adding toric to that, it p-robably lessens your chances

Disposable soft lenses are available from +8 to -15 with up to 3D of astigmatism.
Non disposable standard soft are available from +20 to -20 with up to 4D of astigmatism
Custom soft and rigid are available in any power.

It depends how "strong" too strong is. I think some contacts go up to -12.00 diopters these days!

What you are describing is the norm. You are not necessary GROWING in your eyes, but your eyes are CHANGING. My eyes continued to get more and more near-sighted until about age 25. This is why annual exam is important - beause they change.

My eye doc said I could wear em. I am so severly myopic that without glasses I 'm legally blind. My eyesight is like, 20/400 or something insane like that.
