Hello Des B- Are you still looking @ ur computer screen, or did you take the advice of others, and get to the hospital? YES, you need to go, as that much Tylenol will have long term effects on ur liver. My concern is the following: I certainly hope you are honest with the Emergency Room Staff as you have been on this site. You have major issues to try to attempt to take your own life, or at least, show attention getting behaviors to do so......Do I sound harsh? I don't intend to. I have worked in the Medical Field for over 27 years, yes, and have I seen MANY things in different capacities. You need to get a Mental Health Consultation while @ the hospital, and more than likely a Hospitalization for observation.
Let me tell you a story I don't share with many, as it is too painful to talk about. My own brother-in-law DID COMMIT SUICIDE, and I am still grieving over this, okay? I am very angry with some who I feel contributed to his death with their behavior towards him. IF I'D ONLY KNOWN, MAN, IF I'D ONLY BEEN ABLE TO TALK TO HIM. I CANNOT SLEEP @ NIGHT- I HAVE NIGHTMARES, OKAY? SUICIDE HURTS THOSE WHO REMAIN AND FEEL THE GUILT, YOU SEE. I LOVED HIM WITH ALL MY HEART AND SOUL. HE WAS BETRAYED BY HIS OWN- TOLD HIM TO GO KILL HIMSELF I LATER FOUND OUT- HE WAS 45! BUT, WHY HE DIDN'T COME TO ME, I'LL NEVER KNOW. GUESS HE FELT TOO CRUSHED TO TELL ME, HUH? I CRY TEARS FOR THIS LOSS OFTEN. SO, think of those who you will hurt- It is those left behind. He didn't take 10 tylenol extra strength pills and throw them up. HE WAS SERIOUS- DEAD SERIOUS. WE FOUND HIM-HE'D SHOT HIMSELF IN THE HEAD IN A FIELD. QUITE A SITE FOR HIS MOTHER TO SEE, HUH? THE FAMILY PASSED HIS SUICIDE NOTE AROUND LIKE HE WAS ON VACATION- I REFUSED TO LOOK AT IT. NO, THINGS HAVE NOT BEEN THE SAME, AND NEVER WILL BE. SO, Des B- Get some help, if you are really troubled. Get ur head cleared up. That Family will NEVER BE THE SAME- WOULD URS? BY THE WAY, I am no longer a part of this family- I COULD NOT TAKE IT ANY LONGER! I HAD TO GET SOME HELP WITH "SURVIVOR'S GUILT"- Do you want ur loved ones to live this way? That is a pill dosed for a fully grown human being. Your puppy is around 10 pounds. That's a significantly higher weight! On top of that tylenol is TOXIC for dogs and will cause liver damage and potential failure. Call your vet NOW. The more time passes the more of the tylenol she could potentially metabolize- if you bring her in quickly enough they can induce vomiting and potentially prevent her from metabolizing the tylenol.

Drink 3 or 4 glasses of milk right now and then go to the ER. Why did you want to kill yourself, you have so much to live for! You must have family that loves you very much! Don't try and kill yourself. Talk to someone and get help! Good luck!!

Overdose is very serious, particulary in children. Symptoms include vomiting, belly pain & sweating. Delayed effect can be serious liver damage that may cause liver failure, jaundice & death. Administer activated charcoal or induce vomiting if medication taken recently. SEEK URGENT medical attention. Effects of overdose can be treated with Methionine.

It is too late to pump stomach so I would go see your doc to be safe. Why would anyone take that much. You must have a strong stomach and liver.

Hopefully you already left. I was about to tell everyone to settle down but that is full of acetaminophen which can totally screw your liver.

Good for you that you tried to throw them up!!! You may want to go to the ER and have your stomach pumped, though.. and ask for help~
