it could be a swollen lymph node. just go to the doctor and they can tell you what it is and what to do about it

Sore is good - tends not to be sinister. Often a blocked saliva gland or swollen lymph node. However all lumps should be checked out by your Doctor.

Make an appointment now!

it may be a swollen lymph node, a gland that is found in your neck, underarms etc..have you been feeling run down lately like you have a cold coming. as it might be swollen because of your immune system trying to fight infection. keep an eye on it and if you are very worried nip down to your doctors. good luck xx

Get down to the Doctors it probably only a cyst but better to be safe than sorry. Be careful asking the question here some will have you dead and buried before morning.

A cyst, I had one in that exact spot. If memory serves I think the doctor told me it would just go away eventually. Best seek the advice of your GP anyway.

It can easily be removed under local anaesthetic by your GP. Basically, see your quack and they will refer you to a dermatology consultant who can organise a simple operation.

I had one removed a few years ago, and it was painless.

I know what you mean. I've got a pain in the neck as well. I wonder what it could be?
