i know everyone just assumes that boys (males) have a higher sex drive then females and that they masturbate way more then females. I find it i have a very high sex drive, i am 16, female of course.. and i have random days were i masturabte about 4 times a day, and normally at least once a week. I was just wondering if thats too much, because here people say its about once a month for a female? And i really don't understand why guys assume they have a higher sex drive b/c of testosterone, or however you spell it, because i know that i have a higher sex drive, thena bunch of my guy friends. serious answers only, thanks.

I'm getting very serious about a guy who I know in the past has had very heavy drug usage, cocaine, meth, acid, etc....and still on occasion uses them now. If I end up wanting to have a kid with him....does anyone know if drug use on his part could effect his sperm in any way to cause any birth defects?

I was thinking of this girl on my way to work and had an erection. About 5 minutes later, I sneezed and a little bit of pre-seminal fluid came out. I wasn't sure what it was so I ran to the restroom and checked and it was a little sticky. Has this happened to any of you before?

i've been through alot of hormonal changes over the past two years. i have been on the depo shot for a year now and it gives me horrible mood swings and i'm always angry and irritable and i think i've only had a solid twenty days without bleeding over the past year i've been on the shot. ive read and heard about a birth control pill called "Yaz" NOT "Yasmine".
"Yaz" is a different pill that is suppose to deal with all the symptoms i've been having. i'm looking for a BC pill that doesnt give me a lot of crazy symptoms and sleepless nights. i dont mind having a normal period, i just dont want to feel so out of control anymore. has anyone heard of or used Yaz? or any BC pill that doesnt make you crazy?

I'm 35 weeks pregnant and for the last 2 weeks I have been having what I call "spasms" in the upper back and stomach areas (both on right side). They are strong enough to make me want to lie down for about half an hour or so, then they go away. But if I get up again to do any kind of small physical activity (ie: dishes, laundry, GRADING PAPERS,) they come back. They don't wake me up at night, I have no fever or vomiting. I told the Dr. and they thought it was gallstones...they ran blood work, and did a sonogram... everything came back normal? Basically the only answer I get from them is,"We're sorry you hurt...here's some tylenol 3 w/codiene".... any ideas what else this might be or AT LEAST WHAT ELSE I CAN DO...?? The pain med's DON'T work neither do hot/cold packs and I really don't want to be doped up for the next 5 weeks anyway...they say they can't do any more until the baby's here. ANY ideas are appreciated.

I have acrylic nails. I just ripped one off changing my dogs bed! Half my index finger nail, the top half portion is bleeding! It seams a thin layer of my nail is still there, but it hurts @$#%^@$#!!!!! Ant ideas on how I can make it hurt less? Any ideas on how I can make it heal faster!? Please HELP!!!!

...and she is in so much pain. She's understandibly being very clingy and she can't stop crying. I talked to her nurse about different pain meds, but she wasn't being very cooperative. I've been trying for hours to get my baby to calm down, because she needs to rest, but it seems like the more I try, the more panicky she gets. She keeps telling me that she wants me to hold her, but she can't move, so I've been holding her hand. That doesn't seem to help either. She's one of those girls that just needs to be close to somebody at times. It makes her feel safe. What should I do? I hate that she wants me to hold her and I can't. I can't seem to help her at all.

I have really bad heartburn right now. I took a Tums it did not help a bit. I tried a pickle because i heard the dill in it helps. little did i know it was from 2005. but it still didnt help. Please help my pain go away. any suggestions??

I've been diagnosed with hypoglycemia for 2 months and I have a dr. appointment in the morning because I can't control it. I had two sevier cases fo hypo in a 14 hour time frame on friday. my questions are: what do you think he will do? who might he refer me too? what test might he do? I'm trying to eat 6 meals a day I'm very healthy I'm just really scared I'm going to get diabeties. I've done reasearch on it. another thing that's compacating it is I'm a competive swimmer. I swim 3 hours a day followed by a 1 hour of intence drylands. Its really very hard core and physically demanding. plus school stress. I just don't know what else to do? I'm sixteen

A friend of mine asked me if a clean urine test if a saliva test would be clean as well. He is an occasionally marijuana smoker and took an at home urine drug test and it came back negative. He has a pre employment drug test on Tuesday and isn't sure if it will be a urine test or a saliva test. If urine is clean, will saliva be clean as well? If not, is there anything you can do or anyway to test it beforehand? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

It started 10 months ago. Coughing all day long with mucus being expelled each time. These 'attacks' lasted 2 mins to 15 mins which often resulted in me vomiting and bladder weakness. My noise streams like a tap at the same time as well. I have found dry, crumbly or spicy food aggravate my cough. Or hot environments. I got some relief from sipping water and blowing my nose but suffered sleepless nights and coughed so much I couldnt leave the house! My doc gave me antibiotics did nothing. Then tried me on a rescue inhaler. I found at first this had no affect then it helped ease my coughing spells as soon as they started. Since then I have been refered to a chest clinic at my local hospital. I am now on the rescue inhaler, a steroid combo inhaler 2x a day,nasal spray, antihistomines and singulair tabs. This combo has improved my symptoms by about 50% but I am still getting the coughing attacks on and off throughout the week. Does this sound like asthma, even with no typical wheezing??

I have been told that i Asthma i am on 3 pumps a day and still can not breath it is worse at night i walk a few feet and am out of breath i have Hep C and heard that can give you lung disease my average peak flow is 295 L/Min
I also get a pain around the bottom of my lungs and have a really bad cough i have had at antibiotics
Just in case this is important i am 31

I was having chest pains the other day and went to the hospital. They did an EKG and told me everything looked fine. They also told me that I had an abnormal ekg, but he looked back from last year and the EKG didnt change meaning it was the way my heart beated. I am 25 and he said because of my age and the EKG they didnt think it was heart related. But I told him that my mother, who is 46 has CAD and a heart attack 2 weeks ago and a bypass surgery 5 months ago. They still didnt care.

I then went to the doctor the next day and my BP was 120/100, which is high, but he didnt care about that..also, my good cholesteral was 39, and my bad cholesterol was 96. Arent those two signs of heart disease? The BP and the cholesterol? I also have MVP with regurgitation and he said that can cause chest pain.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this and it wasnt CAD? I dont want to have what my mother has and I try to keep myself healthy.

It seems like all the support and research money goes to breast and cervical cancer research while testicular and prostate cancer are all but forgotten about. Hell, there are a couple thousand breast cancer foundations but I cant find 1 testicular or prostate organization. They now even have a supposed vaccine to prevent cervical cancer. Wheres the research or development for all us? All I want is some equality in the research time, money, and in treatment. I've even called places like American Cancer Society, civic groups, many other non profit organizations nobody wants to do anything to help with this or start an organization. So I wanted to hear all your feedback

I have started to walk/jog on my treadmill. All was going great, but after about 5 or 6 days I have really bad knee pain. The pain is really bad, and it's there even when I am not exercising. The pain is not directly on the knee, but on the inner sides. It feels hot and almost itchy sometimes. I have a hard time going up and down steps as well. I have still gotten on the treadmill, I don't want to lose my will to exercise. I will probably have to make a doctor appointment, which I really hate to do. Anyone else experience something like this? If I let my knees heal, will the pain come back when I continue to jog or brisk walk? Thanks in advance.
