Let's say they are 17 & joined at the hip. They have three legs + share internal organs. But are otherwise healthy/happy & can walk. One wants to be separated but the other doesn't because it could likely result in their death, plus the other twin would get their shared leg, they both control.

Upon being refused separation lets say the stronger twin takes a hammer & bashes in the weaker twins skull, killing them. Provided the stronger twin survives, they can't be done for murder right? At least not in a country that legally allows abortion, right? I mean if they are attatched to you + you are providing nutrition keeping them alive, you own them, right?

A foetus/embryo would never want 2 die either, not just because it could cause unbearable agony, they aren't capable of dulling down like we can. But because every instinct in them drives them 2 survive, euthanasia is an unknown/unwanted concept 2 them. Just as with us, it negates their purpose, LIFE & is 2 be avoided 2 the xtreme

I am scared...and I mean really honestly scared of automatic (self flush) toilets. I have no logical reason to be, I just am. When I was younger I wouldn't use any toilets, other than the ones in my house. We'd have to stop and let me go on the side of the street if we were traveling, or else bring along a bucket. As I've gotten older, I've gotten better about them, and will now use manual flush toilets. I just hate the ones that jerk the handle down and/or flush loudly when you press it, so I always use my foot and jump/scream if I come across one of these. Auto toilets still drive me bonkers. I get very nervous when I know I'll have to use one, and my heart speeds up. I sometimes make my mom stand in the stall and flush the toilet over and over again so I can see how sensitive it is, if it's likely to flush while I'm on it, and how long it takes it to flush once I move (the delay between when you get off it and when it flushes). Sometimes I can force myself to use ones I "know well"

Lately these last couple days, I've noticed once or twice throughout the day, that there will be a little muscle twitching. First it was my thumb the other day, and just now it was a muscle on my inner forearm. Lasted about 10..15 seconds. I do work fast food so I work my arms and hands alot so I figure its from overworking my arms/hands, but am I right?

Would he answer the voice in his head by spending $5 to make a box cake and donate it to his church for the Sunday bake sale; and then, chow down on someone else's donated cake that he had to pay $15 for...???

Was Jesus that stupid...?

Is there anyone that can help me with this one? My 7 y/o was evaluated today because her dentist told her she may need braces do to an extra tooth that is growing. They determined that she does need them, but because she has many missing teeth that fell and also some were extracted, and because of her not having all "adult" teeth yet, she is going to not need braces this minute but later on. So, they are doing what is called a "phase 1" treatment, which is to take care of the problems before she needs the braces. This treatment alone is $2,000 plus. But, they didnt fully explain to me what exactly will be done. It's a dental school because i have no dental insurance. They told me she needs this treatment before they can put on the braces. Does anyone know what this treatment consists of??

I went to the psychiatrist at my university in regards to ADD/ADHD symptoms that I have experienced my entire life. After giving him a pretty thorough reasoning as to why I believed I have the symptoms (textbook Type 2-Inattentive ADD), he pretty much said everything he could to disprove it. I was never assessed with ADD as a child because of my high grades in elementary school, but I was hyperactive and a distraction to other children and it became more apparent throughout high school. It is not just a problem with school, but it also seems to effect my way of life, especially with my relationships to people and work. Anyways, he went on to talk about if I had problems with anxiety and stress and I did tell him that I tend to worry alot and going through some stressful situations and he tried to pinpoint my problem to that, instead of my problems with attention. I have another meeting with him soon and need to know what I should say to make sure he knows that ADD is the main problem.

i am looking into having gastric bypass done, actually i have my surgery scheduled for next week. i am seriously having doubts about having it done bc a coworker of mine who had it is in terrible health conditions. she now has very thin hair with bald patches, looks sick and tired, is always throwing up and passing out. so oftern that the paramedics are in our office what feels like once a week! my coworkers are concerned i will be that sick. i have been considering the lap band now. and i know i dont know if i can do it the old fashioned way. i may opt for that option even if it will take very long to see results. i am very confused. all my friends and family are against it. what should i do, i really need recommendations, good advice, and facts on people who have had it done. please help.
