I got my period on the night (around 10pm) of Spetember 12th, it is only my 3rd period so i dont know how long it will last my firt on lasted 9 and my secound 8, i am camping tomorrow or the next day.
Also, since last night at 11pm when i changed my pad all the way until 11am today i didn't bleed at all, then at 11 am i did again, i dont know if that is just spotting or not.
If i still have my period when i go camping what are some tips? It has an "Outhouse" (In a small building NON flushable.)

PS I can ONLY USE PADS, TAMPONS ARE OUT OF THE QUESTION!(Medium strength is all i have)

Just bring pads along just in case.
If its an outhouse with just a hole in the ground or a port - o - potty stick the pad down there, the sanitation department sucks out all the crap (literally) when they go to clean it.

Well it's best to just be prepared.. Bring sanitary napkins (pads) with you and change then often.. I would also get some baby wipes to clean yourself up and freshen up.. It's truly NOT the end of the world.. I would also start "tracking" your period on a calendar.. Every 28 days it should appear.. From the end of the last day of your last period.. If you are still concerned about it.. You can go on birth control and it will be easier to track.. Some pills even eliminate it all together ! Also, you might want to try using tampons.. They are much more convient.. Get a box of juniors/smalls and give them a try.. You might be surprised at how easy it is once you get the hang of it.... Good luck

Just use pads. You can take an extra thick ziplock bag and put your used ones in there, or just wrap the used tampon in paper and throw it down the outhouse (It's not like anyone will know you did it)

Well, at this point, your periods are still very unpredictable. So I guess you'll just have to do what you have to do, since there is a very high chance of you still being on your period during camping.

since washing is not going to be very easy at camp you better have with you some wet tissues which are suitable for the area
so that you will abe able to feel clean at any time
and also get some wet handcarchiefs for your hands

periods have a mind of their own.....ur always gonna have some days with tons of bleeding some with just cramps and some with nothing or no bleeding at all...no worries their...but my advice is bringing a bag to put all of the "stuff" in it and then tie it REALLY tight and throw it in the garbage. thats what i did..
