Is it ok to brush your teeth as soon as you wake up before eating? I brush my teeth before eating breakfast and after I eat supper. Is that ok?

That is perfectly fine. You could brush more often if you wanted to, in fact.

Dentists recommend that you brush your teeth at least twice a day for at least a minute with fluoride toothpaste, and floss once a day. Dentist visits should occur every six months or sooner if needed.

Hope this helps!

Assuming that you don't have any problems that you didn't mention...that should be just fine. After you eat your breakfast it is a good idea to rinse your mouth out with water (and after anything that you eat that is sugary). Also, you already know this, but floss once a day. I had a dentist tell me once that if I had to pick between flossing and brushing...I would be better off flossing. That is how important it is.

A friend of mine brushes her teeth after any meal that she eats. I brush mine when I get up, before I eat anything, and i brush them before i go to bed. It's not bad, what you're doing is good. You're helping to prevent cavities, and gingivitus :)

At least you are brushing your teeth that should be perfectly fine cavities are caused by plack build up so as long as you remove the plack before 12 hours of it just resting on your teeth you should be fine

you need to brush after breakfast and after supper otherwise the plaque on your teeth becomes mature and decays your teeth faster

brushing after meals gets rid of this plaque before it has a chance to start decaying
