im sixteen years old, 5'7", and i weigh around 145 lbs. most people tell me that im average for my age and height. but i still feel like i need to, or at least want to lose some weight. i have gained about twenty pounds since just last school year.
can anyone tell me some healthy ways to lose some weight and get back into shape? please give me details. dont just say exercise, or eat healthy. im not stupid.

First i'am 6 FT, 18 Yerars old, 17 stones.

Im going on this diet.

I will eat around 1300 calories a day.

I will cit these foods out...
Fizzy Drinks
Juices
Sugar
White break
Any sot of takeaways
Chips
Choclates
Crisps


i will eat 4 small meals a day. No more then 1300 calories.

At night i will do these exercises. ( I will do these exercises 7 times a week, so every night)

20-30 minutes on a cross trainer.
50 situps
30 crunches
and 15-25 minutes weight training.

How long do you think i can lose the 15 kgs (32 pounds) in?

I'm sick ... and those 100 calories I consumed were presumably thrown up.
I'm 5'8''--nearly 5'9'', and I weigh 120lbs.

I don't want to lose weight, but food won't stay down ...
Is there anyone who has advice?

Often when I see people doing sit ups, they have someone or something holding their legs down. I'm trying to get in shape and plan to start doing sit-ups every day, but how much would it affect the workout if I didn't have someone holding my feet down and they occasionally came off the ground.

Also, what would be the best time of day to do such a workout?

i am a recovering anorexic trying to fit in 2000 HEALTHY calories a day, however today I am a bit stuck heres what I have for the whole day:

Raspberries 1/2 Cup 30 cal
Greek Yogurt1/2 Cup 50 cal
Waffles 2 189 Cal
Syrup, reduced calorie 1/2 Tbsp 15 Cal
Egg 1 hard boiled 70 Cal
2 Pieces brown rice bread 140 Cal
3/4 Cup Milk 68 Cal
1 Cup Raw veggies 40 Cal
1/2 Cup Grapes 31 Cal
1 oz Almonds 170 Cal
1/2 Cup Cantaloupe 27 Cal
2.5 Oz chicken breast 110 Cal
3/4 Cup Milk 68 Cal
5 In Corn 100 Cal
3/4 Cup steamed broccoli 33 Cal
Luna Bar 180 Cal
Ensure Calcium Drink 220

In total: 1550 calories (about) 45g fat 210g carbs and 93g protein

I never really feel like eating so I just want to know what healthy options there are to add calories and keep the percentages normal (i.e. not 50% fat) thanks for all the help!!!

I have already posted this question in another format, but didn't really get the response I wanted. I think I just need to reword the question. My husband has borderline personality disorder and reactive attachment disorder. He doesn't understand cause and effect, nor has any empathy for the pain or suffering he causes others. He is impulsive, what he thinks he has to do....So, I pose the question again, with these traits, how dangerous is he to my family. Will he wake up one night mad at me for some invented reason, and just decide to do the world a favor by killing us all while we sleep? Could he take a baseball bat and do it, or shoot us and kill us as we sleep? I wish I didn't have to ask this, but he scares me sometimes, and he scares others with his psychotic thinking and behaviors and that he doesn't even acknowledge them.

I am 5'2" and 165lbs. 170 before I started the diet. Within 4 days I lost 5 lbs but I still need to lose more to get down to a healthy weight. I'm taking vitamin supplements to help with the loss but I have been reading that severely overweight people shouldn't do the 1000 calorie diet. I want to lose weight fast though. According to the food guide website I should be consuming 600 more calories then I have been. But I really don't want to and I do fine without them. Should I stop the 1000 calorie diet or should I keep going? Do you think my constant exhaustion is from the loss?

By crooked six-pack, I mean that the abdominal muscles do not align properly. The left side of my six-pack (still not chisled, by the way) seems to be more elevated than the right side, and therefore seems crooked because the lines that are supposed to go across are not straight. Is this because I haven't been doing proper crunches?

I have been super normal my whole life. Now the past 5 months, I have bled more than ever and have large blot clots. I don't understand why I have changed! I have had an ultrasound of pelvic area and they saw nothing unusual. My periods are now nightmares!

One day i was driving in the car and i felt lightheaded all of a sudden for like an hour after that i just felt weird in my whole body. Ever since that day im nervous drivign and im afraid it will happen again. Im like overly aware of how im feeling my heart palipitates often (there is nothing wrong with my heart i had tests done) but ever since that day in the car about 3 weeks ago im like paranoid somthings wrong i get these like waves of feeling "weird" like sort of light headedness and waves of slight nasuea and my heart pounds. I have no other pysical symptoms i cant tell if im imagining it or if theres somthing really wrong with me.

I often have leg pain & abdominal pain associated w. indigestion & constipation which I have heard is often associated with ovarian cancer. i am 23 and it seems as though the pain strikes right after my period for 2 weeks then goes away. this will go on for 3-4 months then i will have 2-3 months of no pain at all. this has been going on for about a year now? Are the symptoms of ovarian cancer usualy like this and on that sort of a time frame?

Everytime I take my contacts out, it feels like there is something in my right eye. I rub it, but nothing comes out. I've looked everywhere, but there is nothing in my eye. I try using drops, but they do nothing. I just went to the clinic and was basically told I'm "crazy" because they can't find anything wrong with my eye. It's really bugging me. I can't sleep because it bothers me so much. I'm afraid to put my contacts back in because I fear they might be doing the damage. Although the doctor claims my eyes are fine. Any thoughts or suggestions?
