Do you feel that you are smarter, can sense things, dream of future events or see future events that come true or can sense on the spot in real time someones thoughts, ideas, worries, concerns and you can act upon them and change events and no one knows? if so do you keep it a secret in fear of rejection and people considering you insane or wanting attention? would like to get to know others with my ability.

I'll be 19 in less than a month and I'm not at all happy with my height at a little bit over 5'6. I eat fairly well and I also exercise regularly. My exercising has led me to a supplement called Glutamine that in addition to aiding the development of muscles (or lack of soreness, really) also apparently boosts growth hormone up to 400%. Since I'm trying desperately to gain a boost in height, I'll be taking this supplement every night before I go to bed in addition to post-workout...which isn't supposed to cause any problems, as Glutamine is a pretty safe supplement. My question is, what are the chances that taking this before bed will have any affect at all on my height?

I know growth hormone is released naturally in sleep, but I'm also aware that at 19 years old my chances of approaching normal height are all but gone. Anyone care to elaborate on the actual biology behind this situation? Or maybe share stories of 19 yr + who've experienced growth in height.

My husband has high blood pressure and wants to lose 20-30 pounds. We did a fast with our church that was extremely strict(i.e. no sugars, carbs, meat, dairy, etc) and he felt great after the first two weeks. Problem is I felt miserable and we have two children who hate trying new things. I want to start cooking better and he insists that a carb-free diet will help him shed the weight and lower his blood pressure, but I have also heard the same benefits can be achieved through a sugar-free diet, which would help everyone in the family. Has anyone tried these diets and can attest to the benefits of them? There are plenty of books out there but I haven't found one that seems to have the answers I need. So I figured I would seek those who have been there-done that! Thanks everyone!

I always wonder what's wrong everytime I have major diarrhea.. Literally I have to hold on to the sink and move a lil and try to keep my eyes open, or else I would most likely faint...I fainted once in 8th grade..I am now 22 yrs. old.. When i feel diarrhea coming, my head gets dizzy..feel very sick and sometimes throw up feeling. It's just a horrible feeling..especially going out places! And if I have diarrhea for couple days, I would get these weird bumps around my anal...like blister like, bubble. It's irratating..anybody been through this or could possibly know the cause? any info would be greatly appreciated.

Two years ago I had vicious shin split which forced me to take a break for two years without jogging.

Right now it feels OK and I am looing to start jogging and most importantly avoid the same pain reoccurring again.
What's your best advice to avoid it?

Cheers

Some nights I'll wake right up with a horrible fear that I'm going to die. I don't have any physical pain. I just think I'm going crazy. I try to do things to take my mind off of it, watch TV, etc. After about 10 minutes it subsides. It does happen at times when I'm awake. Driving in the car when I'm sitting in traffic for one. . It's not necessarily paralyzing but that feeling is something I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy.

My college teacher said that I am at my mental peak aged around 21. After that its down-hill all the way because the human brain cells start to die. Im as sharp as a knife right now but just wondered what might happen after i go past my interllectual peak.

Is this why old people can't remember stuff? As an older person how has your memory loss affected your life?

In late June, my mother passed away. Ever since then, I've been having very horrible nightmares about my mother dying and me not being able to save her, and her being revived...only to die shortly thereafter. Then a month after my mother died, one of my uncles died.. and I had a dream in which they both appeared and told me it doesn't hurt to die and that they were ok. After that dream, the nightmares stopped for about 1 week or 2. Now my nightmares are back, but they are different. they are more violent and have nothing to do with my mother. Should I see a psychiatrist about this?
