pizza hands down is the most fattening food. the combination of the processed carbohydrates from the flour and the fat content from cheese and meats wreaks havoc on insulin levels. several pieces of say Pizza Hut pizza can cause insulin levels to spike for many hours. this pretty much shuts down the fat burning process by the body for up to 6-8 hours as the body attempts to store the excess nutrients.

Deep fried anything. The amount of fat and grease this adds is just sickening. Mashed potatoes and gravy are a sure way to gain weight due to massive amounts of carbs in the potatoes and fat in the gravy. So I would say Chicken fried steak with a huge side of mashed potatoes, along with some biscuits, and donuts for dessert, would be about the highest fat meal you could have.

I don't know if it is the most fattening, but a family member joined a slimming club and they were told that sausage rolls were one of the worst things you can eat.

There are so many different types of food I don't think you can just pick one that is "most fattening" above all others... but peanut butter, coconut, and sodas are at the top of my list... and shortening too. If you cook with oils, canola oil is the one that contains more healthy fat than nonhealthy fat. I found that in a health food book, been buying canola oil in replace of veggie oil ever since.

Fats have more calories per ounce than any other food. So, if you eat fried foods, or lots of butter, you're going to put on weight.

Fat, animal fat.
I am a lousy skinny 10st bloke, but love pork crackl;ing, and eat most of the lumps of hog roast fat at my mates do the other week.and tuck into bacon sarnies for breakfast.
So unlike folks that haven't seen their knees standing up for years, I really need to put on some fat.
I don't understand, I don't do a heck of a lot of exercise, so the quack puts it down to "a high metabolic rate"
OK, so I can eat what the heck I please in quantity, so if you can advise what the dickens puts a bit of weight on ?
I eat like a Trojan, but remain fairly skinny.
Hey Ho.
