The twenty-eight day count starts from day one, or the first day you start your period. Keep in mind though that everyone's cycles are different and you may not be exactly twenty-eight days.

birth control is the best way. when you get to the white pills in the pack you know you will be getting your period. that way you dont need to keep track of what day it is or how long its been.
