Recently, my best freind's mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. I have known this family my whole life and this news has taken me by surprise. I want to help and say the right thing, but I don't know what to say because I myself am shocked. Any suggestions on what I could do or if you are a breast cancer survivor, what can I say that will help her??

My wife Jennifer and I have a daughter with Autism Spectrum disorder Called PDD(nos) Pervasive developemental Disorder not otherwise specified. It is autism awareness month Throughout April. for those that are familuar with autism there have been some talk shows that have been very informative on Autism. The CDC is saying that the statistic is 1 in every 150 Children will be effected by some form of Autism. Lets examine this. You have a better chance to get Autism than to win the lotto, get Aids win at bingo or to get hit by a car. That should be scary. but yet there are very few people aware of this problem. If it is this prevelant now. what will theodds be in 1-10 years. will we waste that much time before we do something about it. are we going to say "it aint my problem it doesnt effect me" It is a matter of survival to get a handle on these problems and figure out not only how to prevent it but to help the ones that allready are dealling with Autism. With Alisha we were so blessed we don't have all of the issues that autistic people have she isnt a behavior problem she doesnt bang her head against the wall. I am gratefule for that there are people who are out there that have kids that go un diagnosed because our medical community either sees no profit in it or doesnt care at all. If it wasnt for some very caring people at out local BACH ECI center in out area we would have never gotten the diagnoses as soon as we did. when your child at 2 1/2 has no words,doesnt point,hug ,or says mama or daddy there is a problem it isnt "she will talk when she is ready" there is a problem. So I urge anyone who wants to learn more and feels that they could help someone they know by sharing information that is ready and availible from the computers,magazines,tv, and books to learn and share all that you can. anyone who has an expectant loveone educate them it doesnt mean we should dispose of the children it means we need to educate ourselves so we can help them achieve thier highest potential and make known that we want a cure for Autism and our Polititians carrers depend on thier ability to effect change and implament polocy to help with therapies and cures for this growing epidimic

ok.. Well, 4 years ago I broke my ankle jumping off a swing and I never went to the doctor... Since it was broken it really annoys me now ... How do I brake my ankle so I can get treatment and not suffer the pain any longer, because I waited to long and now they can't do anything about it? No too outragous ideas like jumping off a roof or a car..

i thought this would heal on its own, i had no nasal conjestion or was not spitting up phlegm. as the days went by i got worse, i had sore legs and arms, an extremely sore throat and my ears were conjested as i could not hear properly, i went to see the doctor and was told i had a high temp, and my chest sounded very bad, as i was up most night coughing and had no appetite. i was prescribed prednisolone and amoxyllin. alas the aches have gone but my chest still sounds quite bad, i have taken all the steroids and have a few anti biotics left to take, but i have noticed i have developed a bit of a rash on one arm and on the palms of both my hands, could this be to do with the medication or should i seek medical attention?

By acedent yesterday I rammed into the doorknob and today it really hurt when I would touch the spot.Today I can see a slight blue spot, but not very visible. It hurts about 3 inches from my wrist up on my radius. When I touch it, it hurts but I feel like there is a small bump. What is it? Will it go away soon?

Alllllllrighty...
i have had Bv before ... i had pills 4 it .. finished the treatment .. but the smell is gone , and i still get a lot of discharge do i still go it ? or am i unfortunatly a bigger "producer"? lol.

I have been taking tri-norinyl for 7 years non-stop. My husband and I decided that we wanted to have a baby so I stopped taking it 6 months ago. I have not yet gotten pregnant, but I am having a BAD case of uncontrollable acne. I have large, painful pimples on my face, back and chest. I have done everything I can think of to help this, including acne washes, scrubs and creams.

Is there any reason why I haven't gotten pregnant yet? I'm scared that the pill affected my fertility.

Also anyone have any suggestions about the acne problem?

I have tried Shaklee nutritional products. However, that has become old news. Now there is a new product. I have been in the web site(www.mannatech.com) and I want to know if anyone has tried the product. What difference did you feel? Did you feel better, worse or remained the same healthwise? I am currently relocating and moving in with a room mate, and the room I am moving into is where his 2 cats were hanging out in. Since my son is moving with me and he and I will be sleeping in the same room, and he has a sensitive allergy to cats, how to help get rid of the cat's dander. I know vaccuming will help, and dusting...but what if I get the carpets shampooed. Can someone please help me please! I don't want my child to suffer. Also are there paticular things I should look for. Fleas, and such. I know they are indoor cats.

I cant seem to focus whenever the teacher is talking. My mind just goes blank. I cant even remember things that well as I used to before. Whenever I read a book I just see words, I can't imagine properly. Someone said drinking tea would help me concentrate and focus properly. Any more suggestions??
