At times i feel confident that i can handle my problems well n that i don't need anybody (even though i can see myself making them worse).. N den all of a sudden a time comes when i'm actually craving for people, find myself wanting n in need of someone. Then there are times when i completely withdraw myself, get all clammed up, cut myself off from everything.. N ofcourse there are times when i'm wallowing in self-disgust n the works.. All this because i've turned myself into a reticent monster, keeping a torrent of emotions locked deep in the heart.. N now it's all getting too strenous to handle.. i think i might be suffering from bipolar.. But i'd really like to hear from someone who's been through all this to shed some light and help me..

When I had my son 6 years ago, my ob said she didn't support decisions about tubal ligation during pregnancy or after birth. Did anyone else hear this? Also my mother had a hysterectomy in 1981, and my friend said there must of been something wrong with her for the doctor to perform that surgery and my mother says there wasn't, she just wanted it done and that was ok back then. Does anyone else know of this happening? My guy friend and I are arguing and I'm tired of hearing his opinion on women's bodies and what's the right thing to do with them!

A couple of years ago I had a right-side oopherectomy for ovarian cysts that had torted. Following this, I had severe pelvic pain which they diagnoised as endo folllowing a laproscopy (also had adhesions) and treated by use of a progesteron inplant which, until last week, seemed to be working as had very little pain and was able to continue my life as normal.

Last week I was admitted to hospital with right lower abdo pain - initial though was appendicitis but upon surgical intervention, discovered 5 sites of severe endo which have removed. My question is this - I am aware that after progesteron treatment, my next option is GnRH hormone therapy BUT I have epilepsy and know I can't take this as reduces seizure threshold. I have asked for a complete hysto before but my age (25) and fact I don't have children means I am not a good candidate. Does anyone else know of any treatment that epileptics can take for endo? Or is hysto only option? Many thanks!

I've heard it's true coz your metabolism slows down and your body stores it as fat and can't break it down.

Please give honest opinion or actual facts as me and work mates are arguing about this...

I find that on days when I'm mad busy and I can't always squeeze in proper meals, I tend to pee a lot more. Very dilute, varying amounts. It's always been like this. It's not an illness or symptoms - and is not worrying me, I've just always wondered...anyone else find this?

Hi,

I have a rotted tooth(well it certainly looks dark in it's centre) which I am having filled next week. I am however a little worried that the dentist might say he cannot save it, But the thing is it has not caused me any pain yet whatsoever.

He should most likely be able to fill it, surely? If it has caused me no pain? Any reasurance appreciated.

I need some sort of exercise to strengthen my left lat without affecting the right one. My right side is much stronger, and I want to even it out a bit. If you could direct me to a site that has diagrams showing how to do exercises with weights, it would be hugely appreciated! Thanx!

I can't hear out of my left ear. When I lay down, it's worse, then when I stand up I can kind of hear but today I just can barely hear through that ear at all. I think it is sinus blockage. How do I get rid of that?

I have a stye on my left eye. I've been reading up about them, and all the websites I've been on talk about the styes being on the eyelid or beneath it. But, I think mine is actually behind my eyelid facing into my eye. Is that normal? I've tried heating a wet washcloth in the microwave and putting it on for ten minutes, but that just hurts. Although, it has taken the swelling away a little bit. Do all these alternatives work, like gold rings and milk?
