I have a sharp pain in the lower right side of my abdonmen. It been really bad and i had a ct scan done and it turned out negative...they dont seem to know wat is causing it and they think anything is wrong with me. My mom thinks i should have a sonagram done wen i get home because she does not trust the doctor here...especially since i am away at college...what does all this mean?

I have written previously about my ex who ended things 6 wks ago when "her feelings changed". Just before things ended I thought she was depressed (she has a history). She went to the Dr who prescribed prozac & counselling. 1 Wk later she said she wasn't depressed, didn't need counselling & said our relationship was the cause of her unhapiness. She ended things.

She got back into contact with me but has been hot and cold. We met up and everything was good, I rang her a few days later and suggested another meet up & she made excuses. She seems to want to speak on the phone & chat to me but wants to keep me at a distance.

I have decided there is no point carrying on with things in limbo. I wrote to her & suggested to her we go out and do stuff together for a few weeks and see where things go. It may be we do have a future, it may be we don't after that & can be friends. I told her it was pointless being somewhere in between.

How long should I wait before saying I need to know?

I recently visited a convalescent home and was shocked to see how nice it is. I could not believe the services provided, the fun events taking place among the patients and the meals. Pillows fluffed, water fetched, slippers put on your feet - all by the nurses at the push of a button.

This seems like just the thing I need. I plan to pay out of pocket & stay at least 2 months. I went to my doctor for the appropriate arrangements and at 1st he did not understand what I was asking. Once he understood, he became angry and stated something along the line of "I will not associated with sending a 32 year old man to a convalescent home". So he is definitely not going to help me.

Looks like I have do it myself. Before I do, I'd like to know - is there any difference in rates with weeks vs. months? Even a discount as I'm 32 - my back hurts and I can't run like I used to but the nurses will not need to help me to the same degree as the older residents.

Can anyone provide me any tips?

I have been on Paxil for about a month now and I have done really well with it. I haven't had any problem with it except the inability to orgasm or to orgasm easily. If I do it takes FOREVER. Does this get better as my body gets more used to it?

I had semi sex thing with a friend. since we did not finish doing nothing b/c i stopped it. I'm 33 and a heavy smoker. My right arm suddenly got weak and I can no longer write or grip things. I have no other symptoms. This has been going on for almost 3 days. Could l just have slept on it funny but then, isn't it kind of a long time for that? I do have a MRSA staph infection that is in my blood and have several sores that are being treated with antibiotics. Could MRSA cause this if there are no sores on my right arm? I also accidentally took too many Xanax several days ago. HELP!

I have a problem that causes me to nearly cry all the time. i am overweight and have already lost nearly ten punds on my healthy eaing plan i made myself which i am really proud of. but my dad still mostly during fights as if im okay and if i would like a lift up the stairs because im fat. he calls me tyres and other horrible names. id be grateful for any advice on what to do and how to prove him wrong. also if there is anyone out there who is making fun of bigger people its nasty and you should be ashamed if u are doing so. im a size 16 and 16 years old

I believe my migraines are weather related. I get a nasty one every time a storm rolls in. I've tried sinus medicines, excedrin migraine, advil with coffee, a humidifier, nothing works. My head hurts so bad and I get so nauseaus I throw up. I was wondering if prescription migraine meds have any effect on weather related migraines, and what side effects they have? Can someone on birth control take them? Thanks.

ok...I bruise easily...I have noticed the past few months that I have been tired alot....I thought I could be pregnant about 2 months ago...but every test I took came up negative...and my cycle has been on time every month...I dont have much of an appetite but I force myself to eat...I get bruises and I have no clue where they come from...and if I cut myself sometimes I bleed and bleed..I guess what I want to know is...could I be having symptoms of something serious?

I am a large breasted woman. At times, I get a heat rash in the crease under my breasts. Generally, an extra shower a day and some powder takes care of it. Well, keeping it clean, washing with anti-bacterial soap and medicated powder are not working. Someone suggested deodorant to me, but the skin is broken(that is how bad it is) and I don't think that is a good idea at the moment. What do you ladies do in warmer weather?
