The super arthritis miracle drugs, Vioxx and Celebrex have been the target of liablity lawyers and Vioxx removed voluntarily by Merck. Many people are petitioning for the return saying they will monitor the risks to their hearts in exchange for being able to walk and move about pain free. Would you?

She is terrified of vomitting (this is the very first time she has ever thrown up) and she doesn't want to drink liquid for fear of throwing it up. What can I give her to keep her hydrated without irritating her tummy. She has thrown up Gatorade and Ginger ale - any ideas?

My son just went to the doctor for his asthma. She said he sounds alot better than he did yesterday. We are supposed to go out of town ( 3 hours away ) today. The doc said it would be fine as long as I take the nebulizer and all the meds ( 7 of them ) with me and keep giving him his breathing treatments. My son really really wants to go and even though the doc said it was ok I am a little nervous about it. I am not sure if I am over reacting. My fear is he will get worse and will need to go to the emeregency room and the way the insurance works they will not pay the bill cause it is out of network. Like I said the doctor said he sounds alot better but he still needs his treatments every 4 hours. I want to do what is best for my son. I love him very much.. Am I overreacting???? Should we keep our plans??? Or should I just stay here just in case.. I am new to this asthma deal and it scares the hell out of me. What would you do???

My dentist put on self-ligating brackets, so do I even need the colorful ligatures at all?

Also, what are the benefits of these types of brackets versus other kinds?

1. POMEGRANATE: If you're going to have a martini, at least make it a pomegranate one. This fall fruit has higher antioxidant activity than red wine and green tea.

2. KIWIFRUIT: Don't judge this fruit by its cover: Under that bristly brown peel you'll find a bright green star bursting with antioxidants and full of fiber.

3. BARLEY: When some whole grains, such as wheat and oats, are processed, they lose their fiber content. Not so with barley, which is full of soluble beta-glucan fiber in its whole kernel or refined flour form.

What is your favorite health food that you eat at least once, maybe twice, a day...fruits, vegetable, cereal, drink, etc...?

Do you supplement your eating habits with vitamins/minerals?

I had surgery on the 16th of March, female stuff but included a partial hysterectomy. I have been taking Percocet 5 mg 2 pills every 4 since surgery. I want to stop taking it but when I go to long I feel fluish and kinda weird. Can I take Motrin for those symptoms until they go away??? Or tylenol? I know it has only been a week on the Percocet but I just do not want to get addicted to that type of med.

I have tried to avoid taking such an extreme measure for a long time on this subject, but it's become such a problem in my life, I think I need help. I have a severe problem with 'myself', I guess. For as long as I can remember, I've always had a poor self-image, and as such, I've always been self-concious. I have a hard time trying to remember what might have cause me to be like this, but when I was very young, third grade and under, I was always picked on for how I looked. I have red hair, blue eyes, pale skin, freckles, and I wear glasses, and may even need braces. I'm 19 years old, and weigh 260 lbs. So you can see why I'm so down on my appearance. My friends (well, I don't have any anymore, I'll explain later) and family all notice that I hate going to public places, and have all mentioned at some time or another that I might ought to 'see someone' about my low selfesteem, which ironically, makes me even more down on myself. (I'll continue below...)

I have been researching this but I cannot find a straight answer, the amount vary drastically. I know that there are variables such as the specific body's immune system, as well as the amount of food in the stomach. Could someone please give me a ballpark estimate?

My allergy reaction left my skin blotchy after the wounds healed. Now I'm very shy exposing my thighs. Any "easy to buy" product that peels off skin? Walgreen? Rite Aid? CVS?
