I understand how you feel. I am an amateur photographer and I am always behind the camera...plus no full length mirrors in my house. I finally saw a picture of myself the other day and I was SOOOOOOOOO disgusted. I had not realized I was that big! I have dieted before and lost weight but never for long...no willpower... But after seeing that picture I am done. All I can think about is how my kids must be embarrassed by my weight. So now I have lost 13 pounds and still going strong. It just took that one full body picture to make me never want to see that again! It is taped to my fridge and I have to look at it when I think I want a snack. If you need any help or advice please feel free to message me. And good luck...It isn't easy.

That's a hard fact to face. I know, believe me, I am overweight. It's not easy, but if you love yourself, you've got to admit it, take yourself in hand and start getting serious about diet and exercise (I'm workin' on taking my own advice over here). Don't try to make yourself look like a Barbie doll or any Hollywood actress or model. Just work on coming down so that you can feel better about yourself and be healthier. Best wishes to you.

Read the article I am about to post...
http://www.befit4free.com/motivational_support_page.htm
Motivational Support for Weight Loss
You have to be motivated to lose weight, diet, exercise, and workout! Here's some motivational support information that may help!
There are a lot of things we as human beings can do to motivate your self, and produce better results. I'll give you a few things that have helped me and my clients to succeed! Here's a few of them to start with.
I am a Christian, and I have to say that the best thing you can do when you're down, or just don't know where to go in your life is to just find a quiet place and pray. I honestly believe that God will take care of any problem that you have! I won't push my beliefs on you, but I do know that God will help.
For the women reading this, please do not tell your husbands that I said this.
Buy yourself a cute new outfit! -I myself definitely find that if I'm wearing some dorky looking out dated outfit that doesn't fit me right, I have a very, VERY hard time feeling like I, "fit in" at the gym. I have an even harder time staying for the full hour and not wanting to take off feeling insecure. (and I am a straight male bodybuilder).
Picture yourself where you want to be, and believe it! Write down a very specific goal that includes how you want to look, how you want to feel, where you want to be physically, your strength goals, pants size, body weight, etc. These goals need to be specific, and have a date, or they are merely dreams that you may never reach!
If you think you can, you can! If you think you can't, you won't!
Ask yourself why, and set a specific, attainable, measurable goal. Stick to it! and don't wait till (Monday).
Love others enough to take care of yourself! If you can't or won't do this for yourself, think about your family, loved ones, kids etc. How selfish is it of you to make them take care of you, push your oxygen tank, take you to dialysis and have to deal with your sickness/ early death because you wouldn't just take care of yourself?
You also have to do this for yourself though! If you do it simply to look better for your mate etc, you will not be devoted all the time. If the relationship fails, or even when you have hard feelings towards them, you may sabotage yourself. Or, more often the spouse starts to feel threatened because of your improved health, looks and self confidence and they may subconsciously sabotage your efforts as well. Do it for yourself! Tell yourself you're worth it, and then believe it!
Set small attainable goals that point you in the direction of your final goal. Reward yourself when you reach a goal!
Goals:
In the next week:
In the next month:
In the next 90 days:
Within 6 months:
In the next year:
2-5 years:
Lifetime:
Set one goal that blows your mind. Write down a page in the present tense, as if you've already achieved your wildest most unimaginable, mind blowing goal! Be vivid and detailed. Write the date!
Exercise Stuff:
Do something! Yeah it's great to have a gym membership, or to buy an in home workout system, or purchase the newest, best and easiest, "Have the body of your dreams in 5 minutes/ day" machine, but there are tons of things you can do with little or no equipment to get a good workout.
*Take a brisk walk or jog, or do some sprints.
*Walk or run up and down the nearest flight of stairs.
*Do crunches, jumping-jacks, pushups etc.
*Step up and down onto a (sturdy) chair or short table.
*Go play fetch with your dog, take a walk with your kids, play in the park.
*Walk or bike to work.
*You could even buy a $5.- workout video at a yard sale! The trick is: USE IT.
It doesn't matter how good of shape you're in, or even your ability level. The only thing that matters is that you start today and Do something!
You can never stay where you are. You will either move forward or fall back, but you will move. If you do nothing, you will fall behind!

Girl, I had the same wakeup call just yesterday...except it was my Dr. telling me that I am borderline hypertension.
Don't let it get to that point. The sooner you face it the sooner you can get started. I started my diet with dinner last night...
It is hard. But worth it! Your Worth it & your health is worth it!
Good Luck...
