Try going to ur Dr. asap so that he can do some lab work on u. It does sound like the flu, but it can also be meningitis. My sister had that a few yrs ago, and her headaches, backaches and chills were UNBEARABLE for her. Cold sweats is something u should pay attention to. They can be caused by so many different things. Hormones, flu, blood sugar problems, even blood pressure. Accompanied by that back and head pain, GO TO THE DR.
Hope u get better soon & that I was of some help. :)

Where is the back pain? If it is right above your butt, you could have a kidney infection. You would probably get better pain relief if you stick with one type of medicine. As the others said,it is best to see a Dr. as there may be some kind of infection present, that would explain the chills and sweating. Do you have a fever?

Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck.
Headaches can be caused by minor problems
like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more serious reasons
like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can
have harmful side effects, so it is better to
modify your lifestyle. More information available at

It could be many things, including the flu. See your doctor just to be sure. Until then, get some rest and drink lots of fluid. Best wishes.

when you fall sick, you have to understand that maybe something is wrong in your system therefoe causing pain, chills and sweats. i think you should visit your doctor, and definately relax on those pills its not good to take such high doses without consultation.
