Ask a strong person to gently but firmly pull your right leg and fold and manipulate it towards your chest. If there is a Sciatic nerve irritation, it will improve. Your description gives the impression of Sciatic nerve trouble which may occur accidentally or suddenly from bad posture or slipping of the nerve over to bone edges. Repeated manipulations should help. If however the pain is seen to aggravate, it is an indication that a visit to your Orthpedician is due.

It sounds like you have trapped the sciatic nerve, which explain the pains you are getting and where the pains are.

Go and see a physiotherapist, they can give you exercises to do to release the nerve.

Or you could go to your G.P. and he will refer you to see a physio, he'll also give you some painkillers for the pain relief.

Is your leg going into cramp? - if so you may have what I had which needed an operation to free a trapped nerve. See doc and get referred. It could also be sciatica which is cured by normal anti-inflammatory painkillers like ibuprofen.

It sounds very much like sciatica, which is caused by something pinching or putting pressure on the sciatic nerve. You need to find out what is and why, and get it treated. Don't wait, you don't want to have permanent nerve damage like I do.

Its a trapped nerve. I had one a few weeks ago and it was painful but i read that you have to keep moving and carrying on with your normal activities other wise it will get worse. Mine went after 6 days.

This sounds like Sciatica. It really is very painful
and you should go see your doctor. (And rest as
much as you can - although with Sciatica its hard
to move at all!!)
