Hello - My dad and my dad's mom's sister's daughter have MS. I have the following symptoms: tingling when bending my neck down, eye visions problems, and tingling in extremities.

I truly do not care about anything else except the fear that I will not be able to get medical insurance if I get diagnosed with MS. Should I bother to get diagnosed and not be able to get insurance because of a pre-existing condition, or should I just let the symptoms come and go and getworse and not do anything?

so it started out with what i thought was a sinus infection on the 5th. nice thick mucus, ears were plugged, headache, the usual. i took everything under the sun (otc) and in about 1.5 weeks, it turned into a cough. i've had the cough ever since. at first it was productive, so i just thought it had to do with all the drainage, but now its pretty much a dry hacking cough and no cough meds are working, its keeping me up all night and it just makes me want to die. i've never had bronchitis before, but from everything i'm reading it just says rest, lots of fluids, and maybe some cough meds if its non-productive. it also says if you're a smoker to quit. well, i did quit, up until last thursday when i broke down and bought a pack (i was good for a week), but then i finished that pack on tuesday and havent smoked since, but my bf is a heavy smoker. i'm only around him for a few hours a day, and i drink 6 glasses of water a day, plus i've been taking cough meds. but at night its so...

Ive been plagued by Canker sores for years of my life. At times Ill have as many as 5 in my mouth, some reaching several centimetres in diameter.
Ive tried Ora-gel, L-Lysine, Aloe, Hydrogen Peroxide, teetree oil(not sure of spelling).
My most successful method, is putting mouthwash (not an alcohol free kind) and letting it sit on the canker sore for 30 seconds, while gently rubbing it with my tongue. It hurts like *cough* but the white stuff goes away and it is numbed. Still sticks around for a week or so, and the whole painful process needs to be repeated several times a day to keep from hurting.

My question is, does anybody have a better remedy, or any other cures they have had success with, Id try almost anything by now lol.

I have suffered with Epilepsy since the age of 7yrs. It took some time to get them under control but since the age of 21yrs they went completely and i was fit free for almost 8yrs. They started up again in 2006 and nobody seems to be able to tell me why? My medication has been increased but i still seem to having seizures every 4/5 weeks. It is really starting to interfere with my life, worketc.

I'm an 18 year old male. My symptoms have been going on for about 6 months:
-Constipation (lots of gas too)
-Hair loss (worst part for me anyway...)
-Off balance, dizzy feeling whilst walking
-Muscle pain all over
-Burning eyes (they tear up and pour real bad for about 5-10 min at random times)
-Fast heart beat (palpitations)
-Burning/Itchy "butthole" (doesn't happen alot, just 2-3 days every month or so)
-Constant hunger
-others i probably can't think of right now...

some of these come and go, except for the first two which have been with me from the start... I've been to many doctors and they all gave me bullshit anxiety pills and said nothing was wrong. Anybody have any ideas?

I had an IV last week for a CT scan and the tech managed to go through the vein and dump a fair amount of contrast into my arm. My entire upper arm and upper half of my lower arm swelled to double their size. The pain was horrible when the swelling wasn't making my arm numb. The area above the IV insertion point blistered and weeped for two days after the CT and now look like there will be scars. My arm feels bruised and tired/sore, but looks relatively normal. Is this normal? How long am I going to be sore? Is there anything I can do to help minimize the scarring (a friend said there wasn't much to do since the scarring is from the inside, from the contrast pushing through from deep in my arm)?
Any advise would be greatly appreciated...

I constantly have to clear my throat or cough, sometimes to the point of getting a little hoarse, and have had this problem for 3 or 4 years now. I've been treated for acid reflux and that didn't help. I have also had my tonsils removed. I've had antibiotics, decongestants, and antihistimines, none that really do anything for me. It always feels like there is something in my throat that i just need to cough up. I can cough up phlegm all day long, but it just comes back within minutes. It gets worse after eating, and physical activity. I want to go to an ENT but am afraid he'll just prescribe something and then send me on my way. I drink plenty of water. What are some possible things that can cause this and things that I can do to fix it. The doctor has mentioned athsma but hasn't tested for it or anything. Is going to an ENT something I should do? I have heard about people getting scopes done, and I was wondering if that could find anything. Any information would be great.

I'm in college and trying to become more health conscious, so I've been forcing myself to aquire a stronger taste for fruits and vegetables. With every meal, I pile my plate with a large serving of cooked vegetables, a large helping of raw vegetables with a little low fat or non-fat dressing to dip them in, a cup of fruit in syrup for dessert (but I leave most of the syrup behind), and then two small portions each of a carb and a meat. If the carb or meat I have a real craving for is fried or cooked in an otherwise unhealthy manner, I make my portion much smaller. If I order out, I get either a veggie burger, a turkey burger, or a sub with only vegetables (no meat, no cheese, with a little mayo or oil, never both). I have a lowfat drinkable yogurt or soymilk smoothie for breakfast, and half a handful of cashews or macadamia nuts if I need a snack. Is this diet healthy enough? Often times the veggies are cooked with butter, and I wonder if they're really that much healther than fries...

I have this rash on my shin. It's extremely itchy. It has been there for about 3 months now. It's red (I'm sure from itching it so much). It doesn't spread and I know it's not scabbies or anything like that. It has little bumps around the outer area, but smooth in the center. I've tried everything I can think of on it and nothing seems to be helping it. I will make a dr appointment, one of these days, but was hoping maybe someone knew what it could be?
