my younger sister is also having a throat or neck pain right side specially when she swallows. also she had a running nose several days ago and now it has progressed to coughing. could it be tonsilitis or affect of the coughing or both? what is this and how to cure or treat this condition?

I may have TYPE 2 diabetes. ( I have an appointment next week with Doc) I had a blood test done(by Doc) and my count was 130. ( I fasted for 12 hours BUT I took my liquid methadone before I got tested) I'm not sure if that effects the count?? Anyway, I bought a test kit and did some testing yesterday. Before I ate dinner, my count was 122, (time 6:00) I ate supper, had a Special K snack bar, tested blood (time 7:20) was 130. Ate 3 more bars (yes, I eat ALOT of 'em) tested blood (time 8:10) was 399. Waited 20 minutes, tested again, 192. That was last night. I KNOW I am not doing the testing procedure right, I just wanted to get an idea. Anyway, this morning I tested and it was 107. BUT, I also woke up 3 times in the night and ate granola bars. Is that common for diabetics?? Waking up in the middle of the night and craving sugar?? I do that every night!! I know theres alot here, I was just hoping that someone could tell me if this resembled a diabetics count or am I normal??

This is such a dumb question but I need to know.. My left leg has a sometimes constant twitch in either the vein or the muscle or tendon and its always on the left side of my left leg. It is totally annoying. Why does it do that and what can be done to releive it and is there any information out there on what it is.. Thank you..

i live in central nj and clean houses for a living. i was cleaning a small dark corner with a vacuum, the next thing - i have an itch on my face just above my lip. at first i thought it was a pimple. it looks just like a mosquito bite. the area around the bump -(about the size of the bottom of a coffee mug - no bite marks) became numb and tingly and lasted a good 3 hours. i took an aleve, a benadryl, put bactine on it, as well as ice for about twenty minites. it stayed a little swollen but didn't seem to bother me till the next morning (today). now the area is still slightly swollen and just a little itchy-tingly. i don't feel quite right (and didn't at 1st)-slight nausea (very slight) w/headache (my imagination?). it is starting to form a tiny scab almost like i scratched it, but i didn't scratch. Any one else have this same experience? i looked up spider bites, the bad spiders are not in nj, but i did see a black widow here once. will it get worse? what do i do now?

We are worried that her mouth will look unbalanced and asymmetrical. He says the only other option is to pull as many as four teeth. I've never heard of having one front incisor pulled. ok this is going to e sound weird but i twitch/shake for no reasons
