If you're not withdrawing from some drug, I think you'll need to see a doctor.

This happened to me several years ago. At first I thought I was just overtired from working full-time and going to college full-time. Soon after I started suffering from an inability to concentrate which is not good when you have two 20 page term papers to write and can't focus enough to write a thesis statement. The campus medical staff suggested I go to the campus counseling center since there wasn't anything physically wrong with me. It turned out I was suffering from an anxiety disorder. Later in the semester I was also diagnosed with depression, after I started sleeping 18 hours a day, and prescribed Zoloft, which helped a lot. I didn't realize it then, but I was stressing out over what I was going to do after I graduated later that year. I had been stuck in the same dead-end job for eight years and couldn't stomach the idea of working in a similar type of job. My family was unsupportive of my desire to try for a master's degree. I really didn't know what I was going to do. Fortunately, an opportunity to teach english overseas came along. Living in another country has cured my depression and anxiety. I no longer needed the Zoloft once I moved here. Perhaps your life is very stressful, but you're too busy to see the effect it is having on your body. See if there is a history of anxiety disorders in your family. My grandfather suffered from anxiety attacks and depression, both of which can be hereditary.
