If you are a cashier it has to be the customers and some coworkers. If you are just a stock or whatever, it will be your coworkers. You may have not gotten a strong amune system anyways. Try taking vitamins and airborne. But the Purel or Germ-X to keep on you at all times and constantly use it. Even when you dont think you need to. My sister worked at Wal-Mart and wans't sick like you seem to be.. good luck.

i worked for the walmart for about 5 years and i never had any issues. i'm wondering if you could just be getting exposed to new illnesses b/c of a new work environment.
i have a friend that just started working for a preschool. it's a great preschool, but the rule of thumb is that it takes about 2 years before your body has built up it's immunity to handle all the different stuff flying around that place.
2 years...wow. it makes sense, though.
so, i doubt it has anything to do with walmart in itself, but just the fact that you are in a new environment and are around different people. plus, you are working with the public, which also, adds even more possibility of illness.
i recommend that you make sure you staying properly hydrated. drink at least 64 oz of water a day. housewares has some nice 32 oz. water bottles adn they are fairly cheap. buy 1 and refill it once a day and you'll have your 64 oz.
also, make sure that you are taking a daily vitamin in the morningand evening.
one bonus to working at walmart is that at lunch time you are already in a grocery store, so you can make good food choices.
i always liked getting the 4-pack of hawaiian sweet rolls from the deli and some turkey and cheese and make little sandwiches for lunch. also, there is tons of fresh produce. get an apple or banana for lunch or buy one and eat it in the morning on your way to the time clock.
i'm sure you will build up your immunity and feel better...just give it some time.

i would say up your vit. C and your Zinc and a B complex in the liquid form, with help with your stress, and how you handle stress, when you get stressed out your immune system is the next to get attacked. also have a bottle of hand sanitizer on you to do touch ups between hand washings. I would also check out the calcium chews, i have two a day and sleep like a baby each night and i am 33 weeks pregnant, getting proper rest will help you stay strong and also help you fight off any bugs you may have been exposed to. And as always get your fluids, water is the best! Blessings, and better health to you!

take a twinlabs multivitamin daily. if you are getting low calcium, supplement with calcium/magnesium. take a flax oil daily. maybe a fish oil. this stuff is just good practise.
when you are sick you can try kyolic brand aged garlic (doesn't stink as much as other odorless) extra zinc, and lots of C (maybe a gram or two) do yoga. take hot showers interspersed with 20 second cold showers. stretch a sore throat backwards for 10 seconds as far as you can go. get your whole body into it. i have had luck with airborne cold remedy. don't stop taking zinc for a week after you get better from a cold.
in general, don't eat refined sugar or flour, additives and preservatives, or fried food

Right away try to blame your illness on Walmart. No one even knows the condition of your immune system. Maybe you are a hypocondriac. Change jobs.
