urine can turn yellow d/t many reasons.
1.urine can be really concentrated.remedy is drink at least 8 big glasses of water a day.
2.yellowness and odour can be from bacterial infection.might be associated with low back pain or burning urination.,or no other symptoms.
3.yellowness can be caused by cetain medicines like multivitamins and dietary factors.
4.another thing you want to consider is hepatitis.any blockage in biliary tract can cause release of bilirubin in urine giving the charecteristic yellow color.
whatever the case may be ,this calls for a dr's apptmt at the earliest.meanwhile start with drinking plenty of water.it doesnt have anything to do with soda.

I recently became dehydrated and dark urine is a symptom although there may be other things that cause it. I havent heard of it causing yellow eyes though. Keep drinking water and gatorade and also what i drank that is supposed to help with dehydration is a mixture made with orange juice. 4 tablespoons sugar 3/4 teaspoon of salt 1 teaspoon of baking poeder 1 cup oj 1 quart of water mix all together it doesnt taste very good because of the baking powder but you get used to it. If you dont feel better soon you maybe should go to the dr-other symptoms i had was extreme dizziness unless laying down i was shaky and weak and had muscle cramps. good luck to you

drink more water. the more water you drink the less yellow your urine will be, almost clear even. if you eat foods that have more minerals in them, if your body doesn't digest them, the excess will come out in your urine (if you take a multivitamin, you can see this clearly, because your urine will be bright, maybe even flourescent). the only solution is to drink more water. and if you do take vitamins, it could be from that. but your body loves water, you should drink a couple of liters of it a day.

It may be dietary. The darker one's urine is usually because of lack of water in the system. Maybe you're sick or have an infection. Keep drinking lots of fluids and you should see someone if the problem doesn't clear up.

You could be dehydrated, have a urinary tract infection, or even hepatitis. If this is a persistent problem, it probably would be a good idea to see a doctor, just to be on the safe side.

You seem not to drink enough water per day! You need not less than 5 pints of water per day!
