1 pound of fat = 3500 calories, so if your burning more then 2500 calories a day, your on your way to losing weight.

If you want to lose 10 lbs:

3500 calories x 10 LB = 35,000 extra calories to burn.

Do the math based on what your taking in and burning each day.

you need to gain weight if you are 5 ft and 80-90 lbs. You are unhealthy thin. 120 would be ok ( knew skinny girls that were 125 and about 5'), most would say 100-110. Is your metabolism hyperactive?!

You should worry about being too thin.

1/3 will be used up to digest your food. That leaves you with 1,700 calories that you will have to burn to start losing weight. Your weight will fall and start to go back up again as your body readjusts to you burning fat and you gaining muscle that weighs more than fat. When you start gaining muscle then you get to stop weighing yourself and try to get your fat percentage down. You might end up with more weight than you started, but you could also be much more leaner.

Hi,

depends on how much weight u want to lose. if u want to lose more and still eat the same amt of food, then u have to exercise more...i think walking and jogging helps ...it makes one's legs slimmer...try walking and standing instead of sitting down all day if u are currently doing so...

all the best...

I could tell you if I knew how much you weigh, your height, and your physical activity level.
