I have been overweight most of my adult life an 3 different occasions I have lost 100 pounds only to gain it back the longest I can maintain is about 2 and a half years I am sick of this,the only way I can halfway maintain is by eliminating all starches and sweets if i deviate from this in anyway such as a holiday if I allow myself to indulge it has a spiraling effect that somehow I have no control over it is almost like the alcoholic it's the first bite but living under this strict of a regime gets to you.But when the weight gain starts it is rapid and depression sets in the worse the depression gets the greater the gain.It is no longer just a cosmetic issue but a very serious health threat I have very bad arthritis and it takes it's toll on the joints.Bariatric surgery is out of the question I don't have that kind of money I am sure there are people out there that struggle with this too I am open for suggestions

We are in a pretty bad situation now. My sister in-law got into some trouble w/ the law and will be going into a rehab program this morning. She has 3 kids that we have taken emergency guardianship of them. (One year old, 3 year old, and a 6 year old!) The 6 year old has a pretty nasty cold and has passed it onto my husband and I, along w/ the other 2 kids. He was admitted into the hospital a few months ago for phenomena and seemed to have recovered from that.
Now he is coughing alot. It sounds really deep and bronchiolar. He works himself up so much that he vomits, and it sometimes has blood in the saliva. My husband and I have been staying up all night to make sure that he is okay. He has pretty severe asthma. His mother insists that this is all asthma, but I really doubt that, The asthma medication isn't working and all of the cough and cold medication doesn't seem to help. He is going into the ER this morning. Has anyone had anything like this happen to their children?????????

Hi there! I am currently on Ortho-Tri Cyclen Lo and let's say I experience a bout of diarrhea today that could possibly continue. I am on the third day of my last week of active pills, and I know I have to use a back-up method for a week. If the week extends into my placebo week, do I have to use condoms during the placebo week or can I use no back-up once the placebo pills start?

i have been under stress, my mom is about to have a masectomy, i have been extremely busy, in june i took 2 packs of pills back to back to miss a period for my wedding day and honeymoon, it was a little off the month or so after, but then back on track, but for the last 2 months it has come about every 2 weeks, and i have no idea why, i did take some diadrex but it was back in november, and the irregular periods came after, that, i'm stressed and worried that somethings wrong?

I have a 3 year old autistic son. He is tottally non verbal and he does not understand anything we say to him. I feel a lump in my left breast when I squeeze the middle of it. It really hurts when I squeeze it and its not there on my right breast. Its also quite hard. Im 15 and my mum had some kind of cancer that was just a lump and was just there for no reason but she didn't have to have any kind of therapy, she just had it taken out. I know i am probably worrying too much, but i have had oral with my boyfriend, we havent had sex..and i was wondering if it was possible for him to have HIV although he has never had sex before or had any other sexual contact with a girl apart from me, he says he doesnt have it because he is a virgin and he says he has had blood tests for his back before and he didnt have HIV in his blood, i wasnt planning on having sex with him yet, but is there a chance he could have it or not? I came down with the stomach flu, (norwalk virus) last Fri at 5 am, it really hit me hard. It's Tues already and I still feel like I can't eat much and get tired very fast. How long will this last and is there anything I can do to snap out of it? I am very fit and in shape and never get sick, so this hit hard...any suggestions?
