Back in early fall we had the ecoli and spinach scare. Now Taco Bell, a weekly if not daily stop in a day of my college life these days, has had an ecoli outbreak with green onions--another veggie I just love.

1. Should I not buy green onions at the grocery?
2. What's going on that we've had 2 ecoli scares this year? It seems a little worrisome. What's causing this apparent increase in the ecoli bacteria? (If it's really an increase.)
3. What can we do? I don't like knowing my favorite veggies are potentially deadly.

So what's the deal with ecoli?

But, I'm a worrywart. Recently, i've been a little sick and I was at school using the bathroom and I was washing my hands and I happened to the touch the fawcet and then I wiped my hands. I don't have cuts or anything on my hands and then I reached up and rubbed my gums for some reason, I don't know even why. Am I at risk for catching something or am I overreacting? I probably am but I'm a worrywart. Thanks.

recently, while i lie in bed going about to go to sleep, ive been experiencing random muscle spasms or jolts in my arms, legs, and sometimes even my head. It always happens when im either extremely dazed or tired (about to fall asleep). Along with the spasms ive experianced buzzing noises in my ears as well..
anyone want to tell me whats going on? or if i am in need of medical attension

note: this hasnt ever happend before, and for the most part, im rather healthy, though i have been experiancing a lack of sleep during the school year.

Its very hard for me to gain weight. In fact i'm losing it. Is it because of metabolism? Is there any ways to prevent it from making me lose weight? Do medical doctors have any pills or formula's for this?

Im 1.67cm. Weigh between 55 to 56kg. My ideal weight is 60. But i cant seem to grow. Very depressing. Anyone can help?

I have gained an increadible amount of weight in the last 10 years, and I have dieted off more than some people weigh. I want to start eating healthier, drinking more water, and exersizing after the 1st of the new year. I dont want to think of it as a diet, but rather a healthy lifestyle change. Any suggestions to improve my eating and exersize plan. I live in freezing east central Illinois. No warm weather here until about May. Do you have any tips or suggestions? I need to drop about 80 lbs.

The top of my left foot really hurts. I have been to the hospital and had x-rays done, but no broken bones. The Doc says it's accute tendonitis and prescribed some pills and some ointment, but after a month, this is not really working either. Any suggestions?

My friend has stopped eating. She isn't at all fat, she just thinks she is because she doesn't look like a twig like I do (I eat, its just the way my body is). I have told her countless times she isn't fat and that she needs to eat or else she'll be put in the hospital and they will feed her through IVs and that Ivs hurt to have them put in. All she tells me is "I'll just throw it up" Her parents have found out she hasn't been eating, but I don't think they've done anything about it. I want to help her, because shes my friend and I care about her and I know her family does, but shes just began to be so beligerant. I want to sit with her during lunch and make sure she eats and doesn't throw up in the bathroom room but I don't have her lunch period. I almost tried to force her to eat, but I wasn't able to get her to eat. When she does eat she takes small bites as if the food is disgesting. When I tell her she isn't fat she thinks I am telling her that because I want to look better then

He's 18 and he's been skipping school. He was even caught stealing money from my mom's purse so that he could spend it with computer games. He also has this tendency of talking back at my mom and has a very bad temper. He isn't like this before. Ever since he's playing games on the computer, his social life has slowly deteriorated.

The family already took out the computer from our home so that he would start going to school and have a normal social life but instead of heading to school, he heads out to internet cafes...

How can I help him and his future?

I have had a very high temperature and a bad headache for most of the day, and felt like I was going to vomit earlier... I just did a couple of minutes ago, and I am getting very dizzy, sweating and am losing skin color... Do I have a fever or something, took some aspirin, been in my bed... nothing seems to help!

My son is six years old and still has all of his baby teeth. Now his permanent teeth on the bottom front are starting to come out behind them. Is that normal? His baby teeth are not loose at all. Why do doctors perscribe people who have cancer and people who have other diseases? I don't know how they get it , I'll just assume by the pharmacy. When they get their perscription , why is actual marijuana? The same marijuana the drug cartels deal with?

Why can't they find out the exact chemicals in it and form it into a pill? By doing this not as many , teenagers will be getting high.

Many teenagers buy and sell , Perscribed marijuana is legal in California. It should be illegal or it should atleast be formed into a pill.
